ok thanks for the info,and thanks for the helpCompletely different game than the 2 Strives.
This is a RPG game instead of a text base game.
Have you upgraded weapons and armor and the blacksmith shop?Why is Arron's Attack so low? His attack strength (stat) is less than half of everyone else's by LV17. His Attack is also a decimal, as if his Attack got debuffed and the debuff became permanent. He's almost useless as a damage dealer now.

Upgrading the weapon at the blacksmith does not increase the base attack. As far as I can tell, it only increases with character level.Have you upgraded weapons and armor and the blacksmith shop?
Imo--at least looking at the posted screenshot (such as #3 w/ the pickaxe) & quote " Extensive crafting system and management " --Completely different game than the 2 Strives.

Huh, weird, for mine he aligns w/ others (around 900 @ lv3#, similar to the others, while Rose being 1k-ish)Why is Arron's Attack so low? None of the other characters have decimal Attack (and I upgraded all buildings and equipment equally). Pretty sure my game is bugged. Like I said, I think Arron got hit with a debuff (probably in a boss encounter) that became permanent--his Attack used to be on par with everyone else's. Unless I can manually edit his Attack to a normalish value, it sounds like I'm going to have to drop the game. I'm playing on Hard difficulty, so maybe that added some mechanics that weren't fully tested.Huh, weird, for mine he aligns w/ others (around 900 @ lv3#, similar to the others, while Rose being 1k-ish)
Tho, personally, I stopped using him after I got 3 other party members--due to affection & his skills not really synergizing w/ them
Anyways, he kinda needs Sword Mastery to be good AFAIR (So maybe the skill is bugged?)
& the buildings grant % increases so that could be where the decimal comes from.
Ps. Tho, if this persists, it's gonna be killer for some scripted fights.
If this is an actual bug you should upload that save to the Dev's Discord site so it can get fixed for everyone.I think I found the problem! I found the save file in AppData/Roaming/Displaced and found the following entry:
{"arron":{"baseexp":1687,"bonuses":{"damage_mul":0.44}
It looks like he's had a damage multiplier of 0.44 applied. If I delete this entry, this should restore his Attack to normal.

Pretty bizarre. The multiplier wasn't even a typical number like 40% or 33% (1/3) like you'd expect if it came from a debuff. It's like the dev was manually tuning damage output for an encounter and accidentally made the change permanent? Except it applied only to my save somehow?!
The savefile is human-readable; it's pretty barebones (as savefiles should be) and doesn't contain the info necessary to trace back the cause. I've already documented the relevant info here (including the relevant field of the savefile that needed fixing), if you'd like to point the dev to this thread. But it doesn't sound like anyone else has encountered this issue.If this is an actual bug you should upload that save to the Dev's Discord site so it can get fixed for everyone.
Dev is active on the discord site every day and fixes bugs as they come in.
Dev does not come here at all and if you want it fix you need to upload the save file on dev's discord, otherwise it will not get fixed if no one else had this bug yet.The savefile is human-readable; it's pretty barebones (as savefiles should be) and doesn't contain the info necessary to trace back the cause.
