I don’t want to get in the way of this talk but I’ll do it anyway (lol sorry).
This game at least for me it’s more closer to one of the old point and click adventure games than a vn.
It has still some typical elements of a vn, but through all the game, it gave me a sense of involvement that I had with games like “Monkey island” or “I don’t have a mouth and I must scream”, and so are the choices.
As Redikal said it’s pretty obvious what are the pros and cons of certain choices (like the candle one), but I assure that the game is not made against the player.

Hey I love slow games, they are atmospheric and slowly grow on you.
One of my favorites games is slow as hell, the thing I don’t understand is that why “slow” means bad.
Because it takes too much time to get to the plot?
Because the mechanics and texts are slow in real time?
For the first question I say no, the game throws you into the plot immediately.
And for the second I really can’t say, I personally didn’t find it slow, I went with the flow of the game.
But every game can appear frustrating slow, if you force yourself to restart the game and you want to get to the part you reached as fast as possible.

This game is so messed up.. and the damn thing has problem saving game...

Too many fucking choices in game and can't tell what is correct or not as there is no damn hints in game at all...
Give flowers to doctor?
Give flowers to Gardner?
Give flowers to the lady?
Unlock the prison?
Keep candle?
Return candle and get the Rosary?

Why the fuck does this game has so many different choices to the point I think what we do is going to fuck the entire game for us making a single wrong damn decision...

Why do I want to play a game where early on in the game I may have ruined the entire game in the very beginning and may need to start over. The game is fucking broken on day 3 as you can't reach sunset to go meet the redhead girl.

Time for another progress update. This one will be simple and straightforward, we made some good progress and I will be sharing quite a bit of spoiler images in a separate post as well (should be up ~20 min after this post has launched).
Everything new:

• The script is now 95% complete, and the polishing/second draft is about 70% complete.
• The sex scene and a whole bunch of illustrations\backgrounds were completed. I would say art is about 70% done.
• Art for the new items for the inventory is 100% done.
• Coding is about 70% done.
• Audio about 30% done (is usually the last thing that I do but I still added the audio to some scenes to not forget some ideas that came to me while doing them).

I'm estimating the ETA to be still early January (around 10th January). I got sick last week which cost me a few days of work time, but overall it's mostly the period of Christmas that is always hard for me because friends and family want to do stuff, but the work must remain steady as well. It requires more effort to remain focused but I feel like I got better at it over the years.
That said, should be ready fairly soon and I'm very excited to hear your thoughts on it, this might be the most intensive update in terms of character development so far (especially for Arabelle, Lady Hale and Charlotte).
For the time being, I wish you a good beginning for the holidays and stay safe!

Amazing game so far, love the few porn scenes it has and i love the choice system. For the folks crying about the multiple choice system, have you ever tried using your brain for once? The game is fairly obvious on what the different rewards will be depending on your choices, for example: I have 2 saves, one in which i choose to give the prostitute the wine in exchange for a really good sex scene, and one in which i don't give her the wine, because a wine bottle is (obviously) a really precious item to have in a settlement like this, and i love that the developers give me the choice to save the wine bottle in the box for later because it shows that they plan to make a somewhat complicated game (and with that i mean that the game will be more complicated than just Skip your way through the game just to see the sex scenes).

Amazing coding, beautiful art, lovable characters (Princess best waifu, she gives me Pacifica Northwest vibes) and captivating storytelling. I love the Lovecraft vibes it has and i appreciate the inspiration on Alone in the dark and Amnesia (the sanity meter).

Exactly, i don't understand why some people don't like multi choice system in games, that shows how unique the game is and how many different outcomes you can get which makes it complex.

VN's are not necessary eroge games... Who the hell told you that?... Have you played Higurashi or Umineko? Both are VN's without scenes with eroge but with a hell of decisions to make... In fact, this game particularly reminds me of an old graphic adventure called Phantasmagoria... Did you play it?, this game reminds me of that atmosphere. This games promise but it is still too green to say that is bad when the story isn't develop yet, this is just an appetizer of what it could be and what it will be at the end.

Don't know why people said this game isn't a VN and war over it or called it a bad game because it was too slow to skipped text, this game is good and the slow skip I believed are Dev intention to make you to read and get a clue what is going on in the story and how to progress or choose the best choice when you need to. Don't understand about multiple choices complains either when it was pretty OBVIOUS through the MC dialogues you would have know what the consequences lot of it are, if you want sex with girls then choose to sweet talk/hide/gave the items to them and if you want "virgin role" then do the opposite
I enjoyed the story, the lore, the atmosphere and the world building much more than the sex scenes because it was that good. People should have appreciating Redikai and his team effort to wrote, develop a porn game with great story focus than just simply throw in lot of meaningless sex scenes

if you can't enjoy the game for what it is and complain about it being slow and wanting to get straight to the point then this isn't the game for you. Actually, I don't think any game is for you if you want to strip every game of its lore and all other aspects of the game and just want the action. You're better off watching porn. Straight to the point, just how you like it.
