I like this update. It has a lot of new scenery (partially animated) that adds more to the island, and I thought both the Hale and Lily scenes were good. I like that Lily is getting more possessive and told Charlotte off while giving a handjob, and that Hale made her move at the dinner table with Charlotte right there and just used the MC haha. Feels like good escalation.
The mystery moved forward too with the dream of Alice and the discovery of her doll, the tree, the symbol, and the map!
The changelog makes it sound like Redikal feels the update might feel short or unsatisfying but I thought it was good, with high attention to detail, like the footstep animation, or the animation when MC picked up the map.

it’s more of a “What the fuck is happening why everyone is becoming a sexual deviant” corruption.
It’s eerie and mysterious, so I would go for the first option of yours

You could also say that the protagonist get in some way corrupted, losing part of his innocence

Ok the first two examples sound nice but the third makes it sound like the MC is a bitch who constantly whines when a woman makes advances on him because that seems to be the trend in games where the MC has to get corrupted.

Yeah downloaded it and have to say this game is a no for me because sanity meter game over bullshit and the Monkey Island gameplay.

It's a shame then... I was even thinking about giving the game a chance
Would be nice if there was some mother-son incest in the game but Lily's role is perfect as it is. Given the 'differences' between her and the protagonist in an era where she'd probably get in a lot of trouble for perving out on him. But because they're on an isolated island and far away from his family, she can finally have some of that vanilla cake. I just hope all the pampering shit is over with and we get to see her fuck him in the next update.
