Honestly I have mixed feeling right now... I think I'll wait for couple of more updates to give this a try.... Also new version is up to date of old one or just half or less of the story part?

That's fair. I'd suggest waiting till next week for the next update. This current version is a remake. I'd still recommend playing it but next update is where things completely change from the original story.
I see another developer that has sold his soul to Patreon. Pathetic, there are other outlets like SS that would let you create the vision you had before BUT instead you basically tell Patreon that you agree with their policies and submit to them. I wish people would stop using them.
So basically the previous version was abandoned and will no longer continue to be supported. With those who say...purchased it on Steam not getting access to the remake version and having to purchase it again (and pray that this time its not abandoned again).

The original version is completed. I made this game in 2018 when I had no money, no sense of direction and had no clue how to run a game business. Divine Adventure Rebirth is how the story/game would have turned out if I actually had money/knew what I was doing. Just to give you an example of what I mean. Chi Chi and Panchy are appearing early in the next update. Couldn't add chi chi early in the original version because I didn't have the money for it so a lot of content had to come earlier on when the patreon grew.
