Toyotaro originally wanted Belmod and Marcarita to be a couple, because ripping off the Joker and Harley design wasn't enough for the tracer, but Toriyama put a stop to it saying that GoDs don't do romantic relationship as it doesn't fit their personalities.

Which makes little sense considering that the gods of destruction all started out as mortals. And Beerus's lust for good food proves they didn't lose their mortal enjoyments.
Obessison with food and emotional attachment to others is a tadbit different. Even before to Beerus, before the main cast was brought into the picture, he didn't really have one towards to others, same goes for Whis.

Obsession with food could easily be seen as the sin of gluttony. So why wouldn't there be an obsession with sex, a.k.a. the sin of lust?
Like the Egyptian looking GoD (I'm terrible with names, so I've forgotten hers) who is obsessed with love and beauty, for example. She could very easily be associated with the sin of vanity, lust, or even envy depending on her backstory.
Because having an obession towards something doesn't equals you're a full on representative of one of the deadly sins. It's a stretch that was a put a lid on already.

Is my game corrupted with a bug? For a couple of versions now, this was not corrected. I try to go to the muscle man hideout as the last option, but I always end up searching for the little guy in the pictures from one of the previous tasks. Tell me I do not need to drop this save!?
