seriously love the game, but there are so many loose ends, and things that doesn't make sense, that it's getting way too hard to follow the story. There might be some spoilers ahead, proceed with caution if you haven't finished.

Dev stopped caring after people started criticising them.

The MC's portrait and Vados's AI-generated art are both godawful and completely clash with the rest of the artstyle. Is there a way to remove this?

I'm stuck at the beginning with no idea if i'm doing something wrong. I get to the party where vados suck my dick and then i can't do anything else. I exhausted all hers and the fish's dialouge too. I can't access anything else.

Divine Adventures still has a lot of potential to be great. If anyone else knows and has played "Behind the Doom", Devine Adventures might look and be a lot better if the creator can somehow do the same art style as "Behind the Doom" and also upgrade the story giving more impactful consequences.

Im actually susprised that there never was an actual competitor to the game.
One would think a DB harem parody would be an easy thing to make but no,no one seems to care(then again, guess thats the big franchise curse,I mean just look around and most have 1 actually decent parody,2 at most).

Cant be the lack of character appeal as there is plenty of R34 out there.
Is it the franchise´s age(not that that stops others)?
The narrative style(again, not that that stops others)?
The timeskips, narratively placing waifu material far apart?
Blows my mind that Love Hina and DNA² have competent dating sims but DB seems to only be able to scruntch up some cheap "avoid or rape"-games at best.

There was an old dating sim where you would romance Videl by listening to her problems and giving her advice. Forgot what the title was.

This should have never been anything besides going around fucking db girls, the story was there but it really shouldn't have been the main focus and the mc is an absolute idiot just genuinely stupid.
at least the betrayal arc was more or less good tbh and as for me the plot should have ended on that scene with the family dinner and in the future the game should have switched to the Free-roam format with the ability to interact with characters. but no, the author was taken somewhere VERY HIGH.

Well we can all agree on this: a good basic concept, but too big, even inordinate ambitions, very bad tools to implement and a HUGE bunch of bad decisions. especially when “children” began to actively participate in the plot soo yup.
