Who could have thought it might be a bad idea to ignore copyright material, get money to use it for a game and create too much public attention? Oh right...most people. It was way too obvious, now Patreon will shut the party down if they don't obey. X3

so i played this a while back and writing this cos i loooooove this game... but i kinda just hate a few things... so i'll point the bad first and the good later. hopefully the dev sees this. also...

THE BAD-
the start.... i HATE the start. kinda... well you see, i like the idea of you just being a strong character from no where just tucked away in the universe when vados visits you... i'm ok with that part. i HATE the part when you go meet the truffle queen. now, dont get me wrong. while the player is in the start just a god of destruction, he is supposed to be strong... i'll accept the fact that the player cannot detect the robot's ki cos... it's a robot, not a person, i REFUSE the accept that a glorified tin can can beat the player. i know that you need a good reason for the player to get stronger, but you already kinda have that... also, being beaten twice and then winning kinda makes the queen's reaction feel like.. meh... so what reason to get strong did i mean before? vados. in the start you can make it so that the player, who lives in an inhospitable planet, attacks anything on sight, attacks vados... or maybe he was confused after talking to beerus and attacked her by mistake and lost. due to that he tries to gets strong. after that when he meets the truffles queen for the first and would not lose immediately, he would "feel" like a threat. also, i would kinda like to see the main character be kind of a dumb brute character, at least initially. think about it, he is supposed (i think) to be that ONLY humanoid sentient being on an inhospitable planet. he should by no means have ANY IDEA how the outside world work. you can make it so that vados trains him to be a strong god of destruction while jerez teaches him to "act" like a god of destruction, android 18 trains him to hold back and the queen and (maybe bulma) teach him how to "act" like a person. this would also give you scenes to add bonding time for said female characters. though seeing that the game is at v0.6, i dont know if these changes can be made.
THE GOOD- i LOVE the new art style.. wasnt the fan of the old ones. also, i love how later, the player genuinely acts like an arrogant strong god of destruction who rules 2 universes... pls keep this personality in. never remove it. ever... what else... the story so far has been meh for me though if handled well, has potential. the mini games are ok though i would love the option to skip (auto win) past them sometimes. the characters so far have been kinda well done for most part..
now, i know the bad one looks longer than the good part, but that's cos this seems to have potential and i want it to get to that potential. though recently, it seems toei is breathing down their neck and they had to change the game's name... i dont hope that they dont have to scrap the game. sooo... yeah... the game is swell and if you are reading this devs keep up the good work. also, is fairy tail adventure done? it kinda feels like it ended on a cliff hanger.

Huh? It's still a Dragon Ball game, it just doesn't have Dragon Ball in the title anymore. This apparently didn't even delay the next update, whereas if all the DB was being removed they would at least have to gut out and replace all the character art.
This isn't any different than the Something Unlimited situation.

I love this post and I actually agree with you on the starting point. I'll probably write up something better later then send it to the others. Don't be afraid to write more posts like these, they help us improve the game.
Fairy tale is a weird situation. I'm just a writer but if you want the short version; fairy tale was made by a different person. That person didn't like working on porn "adult" games and wanted to remake fairy tale as a non patreon, non adult game. That's literally it.

Absolutely nothing has changed. We just had to change the name so Funimation doesn't kill us. The only difference is the game title!

Thats quite interesting, I was under the impression that you stopped work on Fairy Tale because you wanted to give it a break or something, which was a shame as I was enjoying it myself

hmm. kinda feels like a shame. the story was interesting. welp. if it means that you guys can give all the attention to your new game, then that all good by me.
oh. i assumed you guys also added the ability to change character's names to get funimation off your backs. like this sexy space angel character's can be called jenna or vados.. like your choice not ours(devs) *wink wink*. though i would love to take my time to say this... fuck funimation. their right wars to the anime has led to dragon ball being one the animes not released in my country. wanted to see the broly movie in cinema but guess they dont want my money.. yo ho yo ho it's a pirates life for me ayyyy funimation... fuck funimation.
but you guys keep up the good work. hope to see this reach something unlimited levels of success. XD
