I removed the bepinex and translate folders, then downloaded bepinex (Windows default version) into the game folder manually, ran the game, and downloaded XUnity.Autotranslator into the bepinex folder (both can be found on github). It worked after that. It basically auto-translates each screen into English, takes a second or so.

Note that you also need to turn on winhttp dll override (Wine configuration dialog box > Library > New Override > winhttp > "Native, then builtin").

I'm sorry to ask since you basically already gave a step-by-step guide, but it still doesn't work for me... I'm running it via bottles and it starts fine but everything is in Japanese still. could you specify what exact versions of bepinex and autotranslator you use and how you run the game? Thanks

Also where can I find the Boss Near the East Fort? I have been ecploring the East Fortress with Rina.

Are there any specific conditions to find them?

Your file location should be like
User/***/***/game
Whatever. Only English must be in those parts. So if you are placing the game in your local language name file or something, pull it out. And place it in somewhere else.

I enjoyed the game, it doesn't give out the gems to modify stats nearly enough though. only had like 6 quality gems and 6 stat gems at the end of the game, and it was not a short playthrough.

Also having an auto farm option when the game stops when it's in the background is a meme.

For Sacred Tree Cave after clearing 3rd floor and for East Fortress Area after clearing 10th floor I saw boss options. I don't know how I didn't see them. Thanks.

I'm getting a weird bug where I can't save anymore after completing the quest to kill the skeleton warrior with Rina. Anyone else experience anything like this?

Edit: Ironically the auto-save which I remember turning off still worked. Crappy workaround, just close the game and loaded the auto-save after every dungeon.

You get points by doing body inspections or quests, normal h scenes do not give i believe.

This is before the new chapter, and Lucy and Shia are already 20/20 while Rina is 20/21
