Tip: While I'm trying out mullvad at the moment, I'm primarily using ProtonVPN with the 2 year subscription at a lower cost than the $107.
There's a 10 device limit with that plan, so if you have a couple of friends you trust with access to your login information, you can split the cost among yourselves and share the account. There's 4 of us so we each paid around $25, which is great considering we'll have the vpn for 2 years.
If you're worried about the 10 device limit, it's not really restricting at all. You can sign into as many devices as you want but only 10 can be actively using the vpn at the same time, so you won't have to sign out of a device every time you go over the limit. Kind of like Netflix.
This is most likely against their ToS but it should be fine as long as you're not going around telling people about it. There's always a possibility that they'll change the way their vpn works to prevent this but that doesn't seem likely.
