I am curious if this game will have a balance of content between male and female MC or is this going to be focused more on one specific version of the MC?

Did you extract the archive to a new folder?
On first glance I don't have problems with images, eg the paths for the avatar pics are
dnareorg-students-v0.0.7-public/dnareorg-students/images/unknown/male/avatar.png for the ?-placeholder
dnareorg-students-v0.0.7-public/dnareorg-students/images/kyle/male/avatar.png for male version

Here is what I found from the sex scenes in the images folder don't know if all the sex scenes are in the game yet maybe someone else can confirm that.
There are 4 straight sex scenes with the MC as male. There are 4 gay sex scenes with the MC as male.
There are 4 straight sex scnes with the MC as female. There is only 1 lesbian sex scene with the MC as female.
Right now its fairly balanced but anyone who came here looking for lesbian/yuri sex should wait a couple of patches or maybe not bother I have no idea if the dev has any future plans for lesbian content.
