Porn addiction is a real thing. If you're watching/playing so much porn that it affects your ability to function in normal life, then you should definitely seek some professional help.

I don't see any reason to be ashamed or feeling like a creep for playing these games though. It's no worse than watching porn. In some cases you even get better stories than in a typical cheesy porn movie.

Everything in moderation, my friend :)

if u can be away for 3-4 months without playing, i think u have enough self control to not call u addicted.
like any game, erotic or not, we could get a bit "addicted" to it, and want to finish it or solve it or win. the erotic part is like porn, we get aroused. if you feel like a creep, its not about the game but about your thoughts about porn/erotic games. its like you think its wrong. you need to figure that out and decide if erotic porn are ok or not.

There's a difference between using, and abusing. If your life has become unmanageable, or if someone is being hurt.
Recreational users can lead productive lives, without resorting to knocking over liquor stores to feed their addiction.

Hey, man. Kinks are healthy. Your kinks are proof of your individuality. There's nothing to be ashamed of. People masturbate, it's normal. It's part of life. There's nothing wrong with that. You have needs and they must be taken care of, just like eating, sleeping, etc. Don't be ashamed. People who judge are hypocrites. Don't pay attention to them.

But yes, if you find yourself in despair, seek help. Like everything in life, moderation is best. If you're afraid to be seen as a creep, don't. First of all, fuck what people say. Second, if you really can't function, then stop. Maybe it's time you get some real contact, hire a prostitute or something. Seek a therapist. Trust me, they've heard and seen worse.

Do I feel like a creep when playing these games? Nope. Not at all.

It's perfectly normal.

Sure, there are a lot of people out there who try to pretend that it's not, but they're often the ones who end up .

Don't believe me? Just take a look at the . 92 million visits per day on average. Or, as they put it, the average daily number of worldwide visits equals the total population of Poland, Australia, and Canada. EVERY DAY. And that's just one out of millions of porn sites. Just imagine the total number for all porn sites!

If that doesn't prove that this is normal behavior, I don't know what does.

Look. You've only got one life. As long as you're not hurting yourself or anyone else, what's the problem? You should be free to enjoy the things you enjoy, rather than worrying about whatever anyone else thinks. Don't let other people shame you, just because they're afraid to publicly admit that they like it too.

So, you have to ask yourself, how do you want to spend the rest of your life? Denying yourself harmless pleasures because you're self-conscious about the reactions of people for whom it's none of their damn business? Or do you want to drop this needless baggage of guilt you're carrying around and just enjoy life once in a while?

The answer seems obvious to me.

Isn't it even less creep since it's also a game. Yes you could be playing with one hand only, but you're still playing. You've choice to make, decision to take. Unlike when you watch a porn movie, you aren't just sitting, faping face to the screen.

You're not wrong. Besides that, in the porn industry we got sexual, physical and mental abuse, drug abuse, and actors and actresses struggling with all kinds of issues. When fapping to porn movies, it's more or less impossible to know if they even are doing porn voluntarily. At least you know when playing and fapping to a game that the only people getting hurt is possibly the developer(s) working themselves to death^^ This won't stop me from watching porn of course, but I find it a bit more creepy knowing how bad the porn industry can be to some.

Few month ago I was watching a documentary (in my native language) about nowadays porn industry. It was horrific.
There were abuses in the past. Notably with the rise of AIDS when everybody goes in Brazil to film, because condom and health check weren't mandatory. Or when the industry created its own medical laboratory, where actors had to go for their health check ; there's some trust issues here.
But it was nothing comparing to how it works now. One guy summed it up clearly, quoted from memory :"A girl want to works as actress. They film three movies in one day, start gently with vaginal only in the first one. They introduce anal in the second, and put a double anal in the third and last one. The girl feel nothing, they use tons of Novocaine, but obviously her ass is completely destroyed ; it will take a full month of suffering before she recover physically, years before she recover mentally, if she achieve it. Because of this she'll never come back, so they can put an 'exclusive' over her and sell the movies for 10 time the price".
Not all the industry works this way, but with the majority of the studio being now property of MindGeek, it's a big part of it that goes the "exclusive" route instead of building an actress reputation like they did in the past.
That's why personally I stick to old movies or real amateur ones. I would feel really bad to enjoy watching a girl life being destroyed.

I've seen documentaries and read interviews with porn actors/actresses myself, and some of it has made me physically ill. It's horrible how people who obviously needs help are abused like this, and it even happens in front of cameras. I wish I could say that what you wrote is something that's fabricated by the feminazis and religious communities, but unfortunately this is the reality of the porn industry. I prefer amateur porn myself. Not only because of the horrors of the porn industry, but mostly because amateur porn usually is more natural in every way. Natural looking women with less/no plastic, actors who actually enjoy the sexual act and less fake moaning/screaming. Professional porn can be a real turnoff.

Yeah, I remember back in around 2003 I was working for a small photography studio that took pictures of the models as a "cleaner", meaning I would remove scars and pimples & shit then airbrush the skin, etc. of the models. tbh back then it still was hard for the girls, but in no way the kind of abuse there is now. We were working for a couple hardcore studio, one softcore studio and many other models agencies.

Would you believe me than I met a girl that was 25yo, with fake tits nearly as massive as Bianca Beauchamp's, who worked
softporn for 3 years and was still a virgin? Believe me, I confirmed it. Still, she was treated like a whore. <- see this expression? That's the problem.

The porn industry, as is the whole sex industry, btw, is sick and awful. Just because some men and women decide to get naked and fucked on camera, they're seen as thrash, less than humans, by us, the producers and even by themselves. It's this idea that since they're using their body and getting plowed to make a living, then they're useless in all other aspects of life. This needs to change.

The picture you see in my profile pic is not some superstar or anything like that. It's me. That's my face. I don't even try to hide my identity. I know that all this shit is going to come and bite me in the ass something MASSIVE the moment I get some success because I'm a lesser human being for two reasons: 1: I'm Black and 2: I do porn games featuring "sick and depraved" fetishes that are "gay" and "disgusting". You and I don't see it like that, but Kotaku or IGN, etc. most probably will when they'll come for me and try to ruin me. And people will believe them. Still, why am I doing it?

Because trust. I want to change this whole shit, I want to push it up to the mainstream, I want to tell people it's allright to like porn and that your kinks are a good and healthy thing. It's okay to keep them secret if you want, but there's no need to be ashamed of them. That, in a world where seemingly every single influencer is trying to bring us back to Puritan 1795 Amish Land, sexuality is good and natural. That there's nothing wrong in doing porn. That you're no creep for having weird ass kinks.

I Agree.
Yes, there's "dumb girls" that reach the sex industry, but there's also "dumb girls" in all jobs where it doesn't matter that they are "dumb". Note that I used quote voluntarily, because it's purely relative.
Back in my youth, in the 90's, I knew a girl who was a genius. She was a successful student, was doing hard and long studies and all. And she also was an occasional prostitute (more on the escort side of the profession). She really liked sex, don't had time to commit into a real relationship because of her studies, and like any student wasn't against money. She wasn't "dumb", she wasn't forced, she just found a way to reach the requirement of her needs : having sex outside of a relationship while earning some money.
At this time, being occasional prostitute was a real side occupation for many women. Few times a month, just enough to earn the few bucks needed to finish paying the bills. And you could find any kind of women, educated and not, with and without children, some where even happily married and were the one that choose this option.
It's surely even more true nowadays, especially since Internet change the way the sex industry works. In the 90's you had two choice, porn actress or prostitute. Now you can be camgirl, have your own amateur porn blog/site, and things like that. You can join the porn industry from your own bedroom without being a single time in direct contact with your customers.
Not all women can do it, you need to be totally desperate or have a strong personality, but those women come from everywhere. If the girl you gave ten bucks to for a private show, end her show at 11:50AM, it can be because her children come back at home at 12:00. Therefore, it's time for her to switch from occasional sex worker to lovely mother who really care about her children and use her high education to help them understand today's lessons.

I want to change this whole shit, I want to push it up to the mainstream, I want to tell people it's allright to like porn and that your kinks are a good and healthy thing.
If you don't express them through porn movies/games, they'll express themselves soon or later. And at this moment you'll not be in control of your acts.
Keep all this taboo and forbidden can only have bad consequences. There's a reason if western countries tend to have a rate under 20 per 1000 capita, while the USA have one between 40 and 50 per 1000 capita. And I don't even talk about the STD (Sexually Transmissible Decease) rate ; last time I searched, at anytime 50% of the US student had an active STD, against an average of 10% for the rest of the western world.
If everything related to sex must be banned, then how can you teach your children to do it properly and safely ? There, starting this, see it as something natural that can also be a simple job.
Hell, in some western countries there's even an official job called "sexual assistant" (Sexualbegleiter in German where it more or less started), with official formation. The job is simple, assist (mentally or physically) disabled person with all their sexual needs, which obviously include having sex with them ; and I don't talk about just oral sex. Like it's generally classified in the medical field, most of the cost is in charge of the healthcare system.
The women doing this job are part of the sex industry, but they also are medic with probably also a formation in psychology ; it's mandatory when you deal with person having a medical or mental condition. I'm sure that they stay longer in school, with an harder school curriculum, than the majority of the people who would blame them for their job, calling them whore.

[Note: sorry for the absence of link, google have a hard time to return me something not in my native language, even when asked in English]

Sorry for a probably dumb question but.. what is the MST rate?

Also, I was quite surprised about the Sexualbegleiter. This is the first time I hear of this. The wonders our country has to offer... LOL Just looked it up and these services do seem to be paid (partially?) in some parts of the Netherlands. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland clients have to pay this themselves. Though I'll admit that I didn't thoroughly research the matter and only read this in a short ZDF video :D Still an interesting bit of trivia.

Oops. It's absolutely not a dumb question. I meant STD (sexually transmissible decease). MST is exactly the same thing, but in my native language.
Really sorry about this, I edited my comment to correct this.

I heard about this job few years ago, probably as part of a "look what our neighbors have done" in the news. At this time I was so surprised that I searched for more. But I admit that today I just took a quick look to verify that it's still a job that exist, discovering that few others countries have followed Germany, but missing the paying part.

No big deal. I just stumbled upon this thread by accident and found some of the comments interesting to read. I looked it up but couldn't find a satisfying answer to this MST thing you were talking about. Happens quite often with so many abbreviations around, and many of them being used for several very different things. Thanks for clarifying!

Again, no problem. I didn't mean to question what you said. As I said, I only did a very quick search and the first result that popped up was a 1 minute video clip from the tv channel ZDF (it's one of the publicly financed channels here so I assume that they did their homework and the info isn't entirely wrong). It's not like I had any scientific facts to back this up.

I get the feeling that I'm more addicted to downloading these games than I am actually playing them, I havent even touched most of the stuff ive downloaded. At least my hoarding issue is mostly stuck to money and video games so it wont be taking up too much space where I live haha.

I know I'll take these games to my grave. I find most things boring but I really like smut games so I'm probably addicted. I do go do other things when I'm spent but I always come back for more.

I don't necessarily feel like a creep playing these AVN's. It goes without saying that this is not an aspect of my life that I would candidly and enthusiastically share with, say, my old-fashioned parents, for example. But that's okay because they don't need to know. I wouldn't necessarily feel embarrassed to tell my friends about it, though. After all, they know I watch porn. Hell, with some of them, I've watch it together for that matter.

As for the element of addiction, I feel like I've been playing these games a lot lately because I'm actually new to this whole thing. Interestingly enough, I'm already beginning to feel like the initial fascination is wearing off now that I've played most of the games that I've found to be in line with my preferences. So, no, I don't feel addicted to these games.
