RPGM - Completed - Do you have AKIRA Points? [Final] [Golden Fever]

I got tried very quickly of the repetitiveness in this game, I found the dialogues boring and shallow, didn't really do much for me.

A lot of the characters too far too young even if they are toons.

If you can get over the fact you have to keep doing the same things over and over, than this game might do it for you, but it didn't for me. Not very many things to like in this one IMO.

what an amazing game, the vanilla and wholesome aspects of the game are a nice break from other games on this site. the gameplay loop can get pretty boring but the massive amount of content just keeps you going. the dialogue is clever, the art is amazing and the game overall holds up very well. one of my best plays yet for sure, try this game out.

Very simple but nice game.
The game has only one map where you can move (there are other maps, but only for events, not for the player), the map is small but still there is no lack of additional maps.
The game focuses on the relationship between the two main characters, a relationship that grows evenly, so it's easy to appreciate it.
Even without voices, animations, great story, or anything else, the game proves that even if you don't have any of the above, you can make a good game.
The incipit is not the best, but the relationship that grows slowly and consequently the actions / events unlocked, made me promote the game.
Other than that, I have not encountered any crash errors, freezing of the game and nothing serious.
The game is not a masterpiece, it is not to be played repeatedly and
it can be repetitive, I can't deny it, but I still recommend everyone to try it.

Finally a wholesome porn game ! It was so much fun playing that game, despite its repetitiveness. The two protagonists are appealing, and their relationship well developped. The sex is vanilla, and I'm all for it, it's just so refreshing.

Simply loved it, one of the best wholesome games I've played. The pace was good and the conversations were amusing and very well written. The art style felt comedic but well done. I loved the small flavor texts of the store employees too, nice little details make the game stand out. Would love to see more of these!

The story and writing are nice and the love interest, Akira, is really cute. The art is great, but the repetitiveness of the game becomes unbearable. It's the same thing every day with your choice of a handful of not entirely RNG but pretty close minigames to earn your points, and they are not particularly fun. It ends up being a lot of repetition for gradually incremental vanilla rewards for Akira. I would really like it if the minigames were more enjoyable.

Okay game. If you like vanilla with some pure romance, then i think you will enjoy this wholesome game.

The best thing about this game is Akira. She has an interesting personality and i also liked her character development with the MC. Her character design is also cute.

I didn't care about the story that much, and the game did get kind of repetitive near the end, since you were doing the same activities every day.

Overall, it took me about 7 hours to complete the game and unlock all of the sex scenes. I do recommend this game, even though i am not a fan of vanilla. Also don't rush, since the game can get repetitive.

Do you have AKIRA Points is a really nice and wholesome dating sim H-game. The game actually makes you wait for a little bit before anything sexy happens, so if you just want a quick fap, don't download it. It is a full fledged dating sim. Through out the game you get points for doing certain things (cooking for Akira, playing games with her, watching movies with her, etc.) and every certain amount of points you get a new sexy event will happen. The real point of the game is to watch as the relationship between you and Akira blossom into romance.
Side note: The game super casually mentions MC and Akira are second cousins half way through the game. It's easy to miss if you're not paying attention since it's only stated once (as far as I know), but if that is an absolute deal breaker to you, then you've been warned.

I'll be honest, I didn't expect much out of this game. It seemed like a lackluster grindy visual novel with some rpg visuals, the same we've seen time and time again. The main interest looks and acts like a typical bubbly flowery anime girl and you spend your off time trying to get in her pants.
Once the game kicks off, however, it's clear that it's not the case. I like a girl who takes initiative and as long as you don't go out of your way to sex her up via the bookshelf in your room, she takes every step of the relationship herself and every step is well written and earned.
There is a bit of a grind, however you'll never find yourself going more than 2 days without developments in the relationship unless you're particularly unlucky. You spend a day or two cooking, talking, shopping, and watching a movie and you're rewarded with quick advancements in your relationship and while each step is a wide one from the last, it never feels forced, rushed, or otherwise poorly paced.
On that note, Akira herself is more than meets the eye. What you initially perceive to be an ordinary, run-of-the-mill chick you'll try to grind the pants off of during the course of the game quickly turns into a teasing flirt that keeps you interested and later a high-libido tease that never lets you go unrewarded for your efforts.
The game is swimming in 5 stars, so mine isn't really groundbreaking here, however this game, as short as it is (i unlocked what i feel to be most of the main scenes in a night), has expert pacing that so many other games of its type, and even genre, could absolutely stand to take note of. From the short grinding periods to the amazing rewards, the game knows how to get you hook, line, and sinker, and won't stop reeling you in until you're already on the grill.

There's no point for me in criticizing something that wonderful as Akira points, it just can't be done objectively by a biased person like me. The influence of that game spreads further than just an ordinary game, it became my golden standard for all porn games and stayed it for already a year, an example of how you should make them. This came doesn't deserve any other rating but excellent, but if I could set more than 5 stars for that - I'd do it. It's so outstandingly good that I can't compare it with other porn games, numbering the stuff it did right, would take hours for me and an unforgivably long text wall. So, instead, I'll just share a few of my thoughts about that game below.

1. Most of the game you will spend with Akira in the MC's apartments. The game's duration is around 4-6 hours, depends on how fast you are reading and how you're gaining your Akira points. It would feel quite boring to play in the same circumstances over and over again, but it feels very natural and interesting - honors to non-H scenes. Something has happened at work? College life issues? Household routine? Just some random event happened? - all of it makes the pastime in this game so interesting. They build some kind of lore or decorations in which players can dissolve. It is a huge achievement even for an ordinary short visual novel, not talking about a porn game. Thus said, spending your time with Akira feels like you are spending time with your roommate, not as a sexual object, as a human being.

2. What comes to sexual encounters, both MC and Akira are talking about their feelings, emotions and constantly reflexing on them as individualities and as a couple. Wondered why the story was so wholesome? Well, that's the main reason. This is also a huge achievement of the authors because it is very hard to maintain both pornography and sweet romance at once (heck, lots of authors can't maintain even one thing).

3. Have you ever noticed how everything that happens in Akira points is so consistent and reasonable? Why Akira gives you the points? Why she's teasing you for so long? Why she even came to you in the first place? Even the gameplay elements (mini-games) are integrated into the story very well. It sure may seem to have quite big issues with capability with reality, but it is impossible not to notice the effort authors put into making that storytelling fluid and consistent.

I think that'll be enough, for now, although I'll always feel that I haven't said enough about that game. As I see it now, it is a really small game, but playing it made me feel like I'm playing something really big and breathtaking. If you'll be afraid that this game is not one of your kind and that it has way too much story, but not enough porn, don't be - Akira is very rewarding, as you can recieve a lot for her points.

This game is probably the most Vanilla thing one can find on this site, it's very Romantic. The only thing I can say it's missing is pregnancy content, overall very good game, suggest you try it if you like vanilla.

Great game, feels refreshing to have something "normal" for once. The cgs are very nice, and the translation is not so bad.
I kinda wish the mechanics were a little more fleshed out but hey, it's not meant to be played forever, just a nice little story.
I recommend.

It would have been a 5 star, but it's various "phases/elements" feel more like filler to gate the story, the gameplay itself is not really that fun, there's not much going story wise when going to work , and not much to explore in the shops screen, if there was more content in those phases than at least there would have been some reason for them to be there, so its a case where a game would have been better if some stuff was cut off , or polished more (with more content/relevant story or interactivity)

First of all, let me get this out so people don't have to read through all the reviews to get an inkling of what game is about:

• It is more towards "Kinetic Novel" than RPG or VN; there is only one major decision that impacts the whole story.
• There is only ONE love interest. This is not a dating simulation.
• There is only ONE protagonist, and he's male. You can change his name, though.
• If you aim for all gallery entries, you'll definitely get the best ending. WILL take some time, though.

I LOVE THIS GAME/STORY

It's cute, sweet, and at moments hilarious. Sometimes I enjoy this kind of casual, gradual storytelling.

Graphics ... very good; Akira is 110% a waifu of my taste: Nice athletic body, good-sized mammaries (I *hate* "big tits", they are such a turn off for me), nice expressions. Too bad the graphics are censored ... that said, the censoring is more like "gaussian blur" with small radius, so one can 'train' one's brain to "unsee" the censoring

Scenes ... Nothing too kinky. Lots of sex position variation, but nothing too kinky. If you're looking for kinky, this is not the game. That said: Even though I have a personal preference for kinkiness, the "vanilla" sexual activities of this game is very nice and satisfactory.

Gameplay ... As I mentioned earlier, this is more like a kinetic novel. So, the "gameplay" will be how to unlock all Gallery entries. I'll give you 2 hints: (1) Take a look at the included "Game Hints.txt" file, and (2) when you've unlocked Akira's costumes, you must let her wear that costume for several days in a row. Some scenes unlock only after she has worn the same costume for several days in a row.

Story ... sweet and with satisfying progression (for me). No unnecessary drama. A good way to "cleanse your palate". It's like that nice fanfiction story that you read once, gets satisfied with, and save the bookmark because one day you'll want to read it again.

Sound/Music ... this is unfortunately where the game is a bit lacking. The song is generic; still helpful in setting the mood, but nothing too memorable. The sound effects are ... meh. But this is probably the only not-so-good aspect of the game itself.

All in all, I can without any reservation give this game its well-deserved 5/5 Stars

Well, I played a first half on this eng version, another - on my native language (I transferred saves), so I guess it doesn't matter. This game a representative of the vanilla genre. It's hard to make an interesting vanilla game, but Golden Fever has done. We play as Akira's childhood friend and help to Akira with accommodation. If you want to have full gallery in future, then: go immediately to MC's room and choose "demand sex for accommodation" option for bad end, get scene, feel as bad man, take a shower and play again. So, what's next? Interact with Akira (get AKIRA points), buy food/games/films, go to extra work for getting Akira's new clothes and enjoy the development of relationships between the characters. The game has decent number of sex scenes with varied preferences (each new costume has 2 scenes). Also in the pros, you can add the fact that Akira herself is an interesting character and this game made on RPG MV engine (with all the ensuing pros).

And about cons: well, I didn't find any error and can only say, that they could add some scenes with anal sex and sex toys in my opinion, but the game is already nice itself.

In conclusion, AKIRA Points is one of the best romance & vanilla games.

When it's about only one girl it's all about if you like her, and i don't, more like i'm indifferent to her, and that's why i didn't enjoy it that much, it's a fine game overall with good art, game system and a good amount of content but the girl didn't do it for me and that ruined some of the experience, just a matter of taste.

Would still recommend for people to try it out !

This is one of those games where you go in looking for something to get off to but end up staying for the plot, so much effort was put into the couple that they seem more real than a majority of video game characters, the progression of their relationship feels natural and the Akira ensnares you just as easily as she did the protagonist.

This game is really good with good graphic and awesome storyline. It would be better if the story is longer due to the game last for only few hours. However, this is one of the great RPGM game that's not a knight, monster theme. I'm bored of knight and monster theme already

ok I'm going to level with you guys here. My personal score for this game is 4 stars, but I don't have the heart in me to be the guy that brings down this games sterling 5 star score lol. that being said, lemme tell you what I think about it

the premise in a nutshell: female protag moves in with male protag, yaddah yaddah, she'll do lewd things with you in exchange for "points" gained by triumphing in various odd activities. the gameplay flows like butter. there isnt a whole lot to explore and do but you just fall right into a steady rhythm of waking up, working, doing minigames, getting scenes and so on. I don't know whether the repetition is maddening or addicting but I found it mostly satisfying. the minigames are mostly gambling sorts. they're either entirely random or kinda tough, but their payoffs felt steady enough that I never became frustrated. Speaking of payoffs; the scenes. Now this is a pretty vanilla game. thats the appeal and audience that it is aiming for. I personally could go for, ehh, lets say a little more "kinkiness" than that, but I wont knock it specifically for not catering to me. However, as far as the vanilla content goes

If you did read the spoiler, you may think I didnt enjoy the game because of that block of criticism. Not true. The game is beautifully polished, addicting, and has charming characters. I just think it falls a little bit short at a certain point I would gladly play another game made by this team.
