So I decided to look up Domina's new name (Daemonum Imperatrix) on Google to see how the wiki is going and I found this. Apparently Dekarous is making a lot of progress on the game's official wiki which includes quite a big chunk of the game's lore for those who are interested.

The name could be worse in my opinion, apparently it means 'Empress of Demons' in Latin, which I suppose is quite fitting. Though I do agree there wasn't much reason to change it in the first place. I mean, even if Domina ends up going on steam, I doubt anybody will be comparing it to the other game called Domina.
Anyway, here's the newest post on Patreon, which is viewable for me even though I'm not a patron. I will say, having Dekarous himself call my Madeline wiki article 'excellently written' in the comments did put a smile on my face.

I know right, this is the definition of an infodump. Not only is this harder for the player but he's just painted himself even further into a corner with feature creep and lore-wise.

But that is even worse. The "Dominas" rule over kingdoms full of beaten champions and are looking to subjugate the humans of Earth. The only reason to change the name would be because 1. The girls are not dominas and 2. Being a goddess takes top billing over their kinky/ D/s title. As for that... Other game, Deka would have nothing to worry about. If that dev tried to pull some trademark bullshit all Deka would have to do is change the title to "-Domina-". I am not even kidding, that is what they did with the movie Whinnie - the - Pooh: Blood and Honey. Not to mention that lolcow starting a beef with Deka would only provide a nice boost in advertising to bring more people into the fandom.

I disagree. If you count that lore dump and the name change, I'd say it actually detracts.
