I like the more cartoony look personaly.
The game would be a lot darker if the characters looked too realistic.

I have replaced the version on Itch.IO with a version with several bug fixes.
( Unable to move when you ask for an explanation befor the numberwang, The red tiles don't work properly, Pause menu during the game.)

very funny game, genuinely enjoying it, but after the weird freeze and bug with the math problems i closed the game and now it refuses to open again, giving me an error. gonna revisit this in a couple months, big fan of this so far

Did you get the version from itch io? That one has several bug fixes. And i asume the freeze was at the end of a round? (That is the biggest bug with no clear solution so fair)

No. Another game in worked on had heavy use of that but that one is on hold right now,(A animal crossing like game with ant monster girls) Maybe i will pick it up some day again.

no, got it from here. although it froze at the beginning of the round, right after it transitioned from the game board. and the guys with numbers on them could still walk around, just my character was frozen.

That one is fixed in the one at Itch.Io.(Forgot to enable controlls again after you get the instructions)

Yeah i had the same problem too also well the control start using the mouse also, i feel some it hard to move or see the game.
