Why we have so many games with a female protagonist?
Why do people want to be fucked by a random monster or a random guy?
This is some kind of fetish because I don't get it, I think games being a male protagonist makes more sense.

You are saying that going from the point of view of a male self-insert, sometimes people just want to play a game with whatever character and see the sex scenes as an external watcher of sorts, some guys like to play as a female protag and see the corruption and how far down will a woman fall, maybe guys who play as a female feel the need to save the girl in the game. There are a lot of reasons as to why someone would play a female protagonist game. If I'm not wrong, the number of games with a male protagonist far exceed the number of games with a female protagonist so yeah, most people already play as the male protag anyway.

There are some girls here who like playing as a female protag so this is a thing too.

As a biological female I can identify with a males fantasy point of view utilizing a female protagonist quite easily.
I dont think there are nearly enough leading fems in sex games actually.

I don't know about anyone else, but I typically don't self-insert as the MC in these games. Sometimes I make the choices I would have made for myself in that situation, but I feel I can't really relate to most any MC, male or female. So by taking control of the main character of interest, I cut out the middleman, so to speak.

Perhaps it's because people aren't intending to identify with the fem MC, perhaps it's about piloting a hot girl into hot situations?

Personally i don't go for the corruption and degradation Fem MC games, but whatever works for people. You could argue that a Fem sub MC being played by a women is no different than a guy playing MGQ, perhaps it's just the female players are less vocal than us guys.

Besides if it were a male protagonists there would need to be a lot of context to be established to get to fuck various female characters.

as many mentioned, not everybody are playing as "first-person", I seldom do. I mostly play in a third-person perspective.
and the good part is that in some games I can "decide" their fate.
so, if I play a dude, a cyclops or a female, its not that important, whats important is the character itself and the story. if the MC is stupid, I will not like him. the best games for me are female MC, this because usually I can decide what she will do and I can focus on her "corruption" or "progress".
harem games are difficult for me. this because the MC need to be someone likeable, I mean, really likable. since Im the viewer here and want to be entertained that also can "decide" stuff, like go there, do this and that.
even if Im not playing in first-person, I need to like the characters, and not just the MC but all the characters. the MC is just one character in that story, sure, it is focused on him, but the others are also important. is like watching a series, Im not putting myself into any characters, I just follow the story. same here, but it has more interaction and theres choices.
