This dev still making a ridiculously grindy game (coming from a dude who plays SSF in PoE, iron man in both RS3 and OSRS, WoW and plays EVE Online in rotation) that doesn't understand basic income curves? The game has little spark, AI slathered, uninspiring gameplay, poor design, poor functionality, and doing it guideless. Also you only get a few saves...to get cucked on by the dorm girls?..

And the worst part is, it's also RPGM garbage. This game is stacking L's on L's. Also L for lying because so far, you can't seem to dominate any of the girls even though the summary says you can choose to do so. The only part that was neat is knocking over the guy running from the employee floor and stealing his fucking handgun

I got a warning from forum mods for criticizing you, so apparently someone here reported my post. I'll reply more respectfully since it seems like people here have very thin skin, they're allowed to flame but I'm not allowed to reply in kind. So I have to be verbose and over explain / over soften what is rly simple

1) Your opinion is not representative of the people who like this game. The game is meant for masochists, and you are not a masochist

2) Ripping the assets of the game and posting them here to spite the dev is a comical representation of why you do not understand the appeal of the game. Nobody who is in the target audience wants the assets ripped because it ruins the fun of the game, which is to experience denial and frustration for people who get off on those feelings.

Agree with all points, except extracted data part. It's very easy to decrypt RPGM game's data. Everyone can look up tools for that and use them. So posting this data here makes little difference. People who wanted to see it most probably saw it.

OK, I'll be short:

1) I wanna be the Boshi is tha game for masochists, because it is unfair. This game is just boring, because all you do i walk. The dev doesn't know how to make walking interesting (I would reccomend wathcing some interviews with Doom devs and other stuff).

2) This game has next to none story (and might I reming you that the version is 0.5, which means that the game is half-finished.

3) Ripping the assets is needed to evaluate if the game is worth to play. Thxto Laura, nowI know that it not only has next to none plot, but also next to none content.

I was looking for the plot, gameplay, pixel-art hentai and some of the kinks I find interesting.

All I got is a urination scene.

My point is - the dev is making a bad game but firmly convinced that all the feedback with criticism is simply coming from "non-target audience", when in the meantime all the feedback does not criticise the game for the theme, but for the execution and for the lack of content.

I played it and dont know what to do. Camera in shower is all i got. Maybe some walktrought what is avaible and what will be done? I once donated condoms to poor girl but nothing else coming to live. Grind and pics trading is tedious and there should be option to see what pics you have and chose what to sell and what to take for yourself. Still will observe this game and hope it will be upgraded and story continued.

I'm focused on the full game for now. A ton of contents are added and some mechanics have been overhauled from the demo version. I will update the demo whenever possible but if you have played it, it would be better to try the full game as I intend to release it before the end of this year.

1) My comment is representative of the games I like. Like who else am I going to speak for? You speak for masochists? I did that shit in real life, for 2 years. It was fantastic and I was hot commodity for the city I live in. Covid killed that.

2) Yeah, how else am I going to get a better outcome? My sentiment is shared with a lot of other people, because I'm seeing reoccurring themes. Fear & Hunger is more forgiving than this game, and I've said so before. I'm going to continue ripping on the game HARD af, because it expects you (the player) to be forced to enjoy gameplay that was designed primarily by what I feel AND observe is developed by AI. Art, VA, storyline, progression mechanics, etc.

I'm going to continue playing RPGMaker games, that have porn in them, yes. I don't need your permission. You can cope and call it a game for masochists, I am one, this ain't it, chief. I love exploring all the niches and have a pretty wide variety of things I look for and like in a game. Don't pretend you know any of it.

I don't look for one specific genre. I look for art style, gameplay, and development. If it takes months on end, but the other 2 aspects are strong, I fuck with it. You need to stop speaking for a "we" and "them." You are not a representative for a group. Speak for yourself, as I have.

Also, I'm still hoping the direction/progression get changed to be a little more tolerable and make sense. I've brought up my critique to the dev, and it's getting change. I still retry it. So, there's that. Once again, stay in your own lane.

It's a short demo 0.6 that I developed as a free time hobby and I have seen some of you guys comparing it with popular titles as if it's a big funded game. DJR does not try to compete with them, nor it will try to entertain a large scale audience. I even saw someone above saying it's a "RPG Maker Garbage" out of nowhere even when they saw the tag on the thumbnail and clicked it. The game does not claim to be an Unreal Engine 5 game.

With the current state of the censorship push (including itch and patreon), and Steam not allowing Early Access for adult titles recently for some reason, it's a long shot that this game will ever make any money anytime soon even if steam doesn't ban it entirely. So, it's still a very much hobby game that I play around with fun ideas and mechanics on rpgmv.
Also, the description was copied from Steam store page which reflects the full game, not the early demo.

My issue with the game isn't the budget, it's the gameplay, which has very little to do with the budget. I'm waiting to see the next update to compare from the last time I played, to when it's changed. It seems like you're the entire point of why people are calling it garbage, when it's filled with AI bs and the story isn't really good. If you're making a car, and all it is, is a chassis and some wheels, you think people are going to sit there and call it a good car? As it is now, it's bad. the games I mentioned before were in response to people saying I don't like grindy games, when all I play are grindy AF games, or unforgiving, which I also don't mind, but don't prefer for a porn genre, or lastly the 8-bit style, which is my favorite, since I grew up on GBA games.

If you're going to bring up Steam or Itch or Patreon, you're going to get shit, because of the things I've said before. That this game is incredibly lazy work, while utilizing AI to not only build and animate and draw for you, you're wanting to make money off it as a side hustle, and it really shows.

- I literally explained, I don't make money on either of those platforms anymore or have any chance of making any.
- Calling it a lazy work is your own opinion. I would love to see your game.
- I do not use AI for anything other than concept arts. If you think it's simple as just generating, then by all means go make it yourself and then compare them with mine. Then come call it a lazy work.

-It most definitely is lazy, and I don't plan to make a game, I'm a good writer, not an artist, and not a coder at all. And if I ever do, I'm not going to spaghetti code or AI rely, to build it. You're doing that, fine, no shame in the game, but stop pretending like you aren't. The landlord's voice is clearly AI, every splash art of the girls literally look like slightly nerfed versions from Starmaker Story, and that's AI generated, and the balls you've got to say I'm attempting to gaslight when did play this hellish game for roughly 10 hours, 1-handedly, I was beating limp meat (which is another thing, you make a porn game and got limp dude's playing it, they're not staying).
