Wonderful renders, but this game is so slow in moving forward that it drives me insane. I hate the constant nagging about the MC´s backstory that never gets fully explaind. They just add very small hints or repeating the reveals from previous episodes. It aint that captivating and gets boring very fast. I played the first 4 episodes and it feels like i just stepped outside the door and still just looking around at my enviorment.

To Sum it up in one word: disappointing

Character models and renders look great, as expected from Palmer. They clearly have both talent and experience, which only furthers the disappointment in what's ultimately delivered.

After Ep.1 I hoped this would be a mature take on how guilt, expectations and depression affect those close to you. It quickly devolves into an angsty, edgy highschool romcom. By Ep.3 I knew there was nothing for me to hold out for. Stereotypes ranging from trite to cartoonish, but never quite likeable or genuinely interesting. Social/mental health issues little more than cheap melodrama fuel.

It's very pretty. I don't like anything else about it.


However, you might still like this, IF:
- your appreciation for camp and/or tolerance for highschool melodrama, stereotypes and tropes is very high
- you're just in it for the pretty pics. They are, in fact, very pretty

The setting is immersive, the characters and relationships between them — enjoyable, the choices appear meaningful, and the art is splendid. It's doesn't require any gameplay mechanics, just pure choices, which is what I'm looking for.

The game is great good story line same as Daughter for dessert. The good thing is I enjoy the story because its very deep and all of the girls are so hot especially Tamara and Johanna. This game is very mysterious because of how Dennis get those videos and what really to the relationship of mc and Rachel. About the software that they are using I suggest to use the one that you are using in DFD especially when you releasing the Free version so that it can easily be play but overall I love this game and lots of potential will come and thank you Palmer for creating this game.

The game is visually pleasing but my god is the engine bad, the loading between scenes is awful .
Total lack of choice as whatever you chose leads to the same outcome, might as well not give us options at all...
Pretty much no content at the moment 4 chapters in, the story and characters are all pretty bland, only good thing so far is character models and even there it's nothing special .

Palmer outdid himself, great story, great renders - a real piece of art. First two episodes are just for story, no sex scenes or even romance. And story is definitely worth it. And its a real pleasure to read (and see). 'Cause girls are beatiful, every one of them.

The engine is horrible, everything takes ages and the skip funktion doesn't work , as i cant deceide when to end the skip.

The decisions dont matter, as all the options lead to the same outcome
and the story is boring as well.

At the moment the only positives are the character models, but there are no scenes where it matter yet.

So not worth playing

Visually, it's good.

On the other hand, everything takes forever, transitions every 30 seconds and barely any content (if any at all)

Besides, the story isn't interesting in the slightest. It's a waste of time.

I am a big fan of Palmer. Emily is what introduced me to all of these RPG games F95 etc so I owe him a big debt of gratitude. I loved DFD even though it runs incredibly slowly compared to other games. This game looks fantastic but it looks like I will not be able to play it.

Is it just me or does this game run slower than real life. Settings do not give an instant dialogue option and between the narrative trickling along at a pre school reading pace and the sound effects taking forever i just cannot sit doing nothing long enough to continue playing this game. Such a shame.

Ed I accept this could be more about my system than the game. so have increased my rating to 3 for now and will try again with the update to see if the experience improves for me. I still wish the sound effects could be modified so that they occur during scenes not between them as they slow down the game significantly on my system and like in DFD having a preference option of modifying the text speed could eliminate one of my other problems first time through with this game. With these problems eliminated my rating based on the story and the graphics could well be 5/5

Only one screen, but a very good one, the story ends super fast tho. Keep on the good job, the graphic is awesome, the characters are well designed and the colors looks amazing, i hope the story will be much much longer in the next releases.

Double Homework is a very deeply written, adult game. I use the term adult as this is not a work of *porn*. Palmer tends to favor a style of realism with a slow burn and this game doesn't disappoint.

I'll state upfront there will be many who will not like the serious overtones of the writing style as well as the slow moving character arc into the world of sexuality. Again, this game is a more real-to-life story with a slow moving plot... With equally slow developing sex scenes.

Renders are excellent. The Characters are beautiful. Music and sound are also excellent. This is one of those few games where I actually turn the volume up. The only downside in my opinion is the interface which takes some time to get used to. In addition, F11 did not work for me.

If one is looking for a non-porn adult game, I highly recommend a play through and looking forward to the next installment!

I'm about 20 minutes into this, and dang....it is depressing as fuk!!! Props to the author for doing such a good job capturing how a depressed person feels??
But the artwork is fantastic, Dr. Mosley is off the charts hot, and there is hope for better times ahead. I suppose I'll keep moving forward and hope the MC gets out of his almost make me wanna off myself depressive state. Come on dude, get your sheet together and bang em already!

Really nice looking girls. I do not like the game engine.
Right now the F11 to make it full screen does not work. There is no ability to speed up the text. This makes the game more irritating than it needs to be.

Extremely boring. Expected a fun high school erotic vibe, instead got a depressed suicidal mc and a carnival.

Palmers games tend to have low fap content, didn't expect much there. The writing is top notch, but wish it was fun from the start instead of the mc overcoming his depression arc.

Graphics: 10/10
Prettiest graphics, unique characters and environments, so had to click through to the end. So damn pretty.
