RPGM - Completed - Dragon Conqueror [v1.00 Steam] [BanameiR]

The story of this game is the best i played. Truly good, and the character development too. The dynamics and game mechanics are great. I already played goblin conqueror, and i'm excited for the third game of this creator.

this game would stay a 5/5 if it was just the suzurika postgame scenes and in fact i want a 12 hour game of just an extended version of the scenario. it's peak i'm afraid.

look at that strong woman x shota pairing. the tasetful stepfordization and humiliation of it. my god, there's even instant loss.

I have to say this game really disappointed me. Not because I had high expectations going in, but because the first half of the game was really great. I have the game completed at about 90%, only the last stretch remains. Spoiler free mostly I think, I didn't touch up on any story related happenings in the review.

From the get go, there's 2 types of enemies in 80% of the zones you encounter, both have one scene and most have 2 dialogue variations, first time and second time. Throughout the first part of the game you also had a FEW enemies that if you lost to it would initiate a second scene where you get captured. Like with a lone goblin or bandits. I think that was great but quite underutilized. Protagonist escapes on her own after the second scene though, which, I think was a missed opportunity to make the player have to try to escape, or fail.

Despite what some people say, I think the artstyle is great. Not dated at all as stylized graphics are kind of timeless. And the CG-s are really great, sadly you do get a considerable amount of reused CG-s but there's still plenty of them so it's not too jarring at first.

Corruption is, fine, I suppose. You only really have a few things that change with high lewdness and I guess you get new opportunities too. That being said, there's 2 events, that change according if you're going on a "slut" run, in which you give birth. The first one is pretty good though it got repetitive a little bit at the end, and the second event is just... Odd. You change characters for some reason and I don't think you get control of her again after that.

The story is your cookie cutter "parents died, now training to defeat their killer" type shtick which is fine. I don't play porn games for the story so I didn't pay too much attention though some parts were interesting. But during the latter part of the game there was, I shit you not, a flashback scene that took almost 3 minutes to SKIP OVER! Yeah, pressing CTRL + Left mouse button, which speeds through text and it still took I think almost 3 minutes. I can not imagine reading through all that.

So as I said, first part is great. Plenty of great content. But the second part of the game, oh boy. After you clear all major zones on the map, you start getting missions taking place in the capital and 90% have zero H content. You see, when you first reach the main hub of the game you get introduced to "killing intent", enemies that will fuck you up, but won't fuck you. First of all, I think it is a huge missed potential to include "bad ends", not "dead ends" if you get what I mean. Second, as I was saying about the latter half of the game, most of the missions won't have any mobs with an h-scene, just a boss that will want to kill you.

A couple of more things, you can get several outfits during the game. I think there's about 8 or 9. Although you can only initiate scenes with enemies if you're naked so it doesn't matter in the long run. Though there are SOME scenes I think where the outfit shows.

The combat is quite interesting and unique, unfortunately it is dead easy as you only have to use 2 styles out of the 3, third one being defense and the other two are damage and speed. I mostly just switched between the two and I was fine.

There are some missions that aren't labelled at all. As in, for example, there's this one NPC sitting in the guild building that if you talk to will give you about 5 missions to get monster materials. But you won't know this until you talk to that random NPC. Sometimes if you skip the dialogue you'll also have a little trouble figuring out where to go as the main menu "hint" only talks about the overall mission, not the particular state you are at, but there is a fortune teller in the underground that tells you what to do for 100 gold.

Overall, I'd give the first part of the game a very strong 4, but the latter part of the game brings down the overall experience to a steady 3. If this game had a couple more months to stew, I really think it could have been one of the greats. Unfortunately, the lacking latter part, and the missed opportunities make this game one that you really should try, but unless you're interested in the story, just drop it after a certain point. Specifically when you're getting missions where you have to defeat bosses almost back to back without any h-scene inbetween.

Good game, decent to boring fap material.
-Pros: somewhat interesting story but inferior to the prequel, good world building, a fun problem solving chapter, easy combat (less grind), many things to do with H-contents, pregnancy, many H-scenes.
-Cons: quite boring if you don't like the story or the arts, combat is too easy, some H-scenes are just the same or too long.
(personally, i don't like the character deadpan face while doing erotic stuffs. Not to mention their balloon-like breast, it feel unnatural and awkward)
-> Quite frankly, i enjoy playing the game and exploring. I sometimes even feel annoying when the H-scenes appear.

Decent game. It builds off the previous and adds on to the world that the dev is trying to build up. If you're not a fan of RPGM games, it has relatively simple and fast combat imho. It's not annoying and there are multiple ways to bypass the combat level requirements ala equipment and stat boosts that you can buy.

The story isn't anything groundbreaking, it serves the NFSW bits moreso than anything. The main fetishes here are probably prostitution, rape, beastiality, and pregnancy. The MC is trying to find out the truth about why her hometown was petrified into stone and take revenge. The character interactions aren't much to write home about. I think it's sweet that you can choose 1 of 2 "Lover" endings, and one of them is actually pretty nice.

I'm not a huge fan of the pregnancy stuff being mostly placebo. You can get pregnant at any time, but it won't advance because 2 of those are tied to story progression, and the post-story stuff only lets you progress it via the hospital. The story is pretty slow to set up, you don't get to the meat and bones until 3-4 hours in. Imo you feel like a nameless person just running around playing detective and being naively tricked alot of the time.

I think the art is highly stylized and many people will either love it or hate it. Personally, I find it to be suitable for the story. Not too serious and not too light-hearted. It gives off 2010 flash game vibes tbh.

Is it worth running through? I don't think it is unless you enjoy the tags I listed before. The story takes a while to ramp up and for you to do anything, so many people might find that frustrating and dull to sit through - especially if you despise RPGM games.

Overall I'd say pretty examplary.

It's not perfect, but it is pretty great.

The artstyle is fairly unique. It has a story that can be somewhat captivating. There are a large variety of events. There are a pretty decent amount of supported fetishes.

The actual gameplay is decent - it's actually just fun enough to make me wish it was a bit more challenging.

I played on the GPT-4 translation and I didn't notice it was MTL. Not sure how the official translation is, but I can't imagine that it's worse.

Overall, while it is certainly not my favourite game on the site, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who is even slightly interested.

No idea why this is so highly reviewed. They say the story is amazing, sure it's serviceable. But the art is mediocre and dated while the scenes are either terrible or boring. Play this one if you want but I'm just saying there is far better out there for a fun and lewd time.

This game is amazing quite honestly.
Story is amazing enough to make me not even care for the h scenes which I just ignored in order to play the story.
Afterwards I went back and saw the h scenes and they were great.
Battle system is interesting and the moves are well animated

Pretty solid game, finally an RPG maker games combat that doesn't make me want to pull my hair out. Story are pretty interesting too, got me locked in and actually finished it with minimum H scene involvement. Fucked up with whatever they have Hazel went through thou.

One of the best games I have played here. Very high quality. There are disappointing aspects to the whole thing though.


That said everything else about the game is really enjoyable. Even the combat system is nice, though there isn't much depth to the encounters. It just feels nice.

Also the sex aspect kind of feels out of place. If I look at the personality of the MC, she is completely unsuitable to be made a slut. Virgin run fits her better. But this is a porn game, so obviously I'm making her a slut. At some point I just stopped thinking about it.

I've presented this review as a mixed bag, but the quality here is so great that this is an easy 5 stars for me.

The Devs had no need to make the story writing to go so hard. Like it could have been a normal rpg game without the hentai content and it would still be a very solid game.

I almost never see a hentai game with such a good writing. For once you keep playing because you want to know where the story ends. And not forcing yourself to play just to see more Ero content.

Don't be fooled by the art style which scared be off first, this is a treasure among hentai games.

Well it's about time. I was a fan of the dev's previous game, Goblin Conqueror, only having gripes with a rushed unfinished translation and the awkward rock-paper-scissors combat system, but still had a good time with it otherwise.

This game however is a whole other level of quality in all regards. The awful rock paper scissors combat? Gone, replaced with a genuinely enthralling stamina system where you try to get in the most you possibly can in a single turn without overexerting yourself for your next turn, managing your super moves and special stances. It ranks among the best combat experiences I've ever had in an RPGmaker game period.

The visuals? Just like the dev's previous game, amazing. The CGs are hot, the girls are cute, the art style with its thick outlines and exaggerated expressions is super distinctive, there's a lot of variety in poses and sex acts, the character designs of even the non-hentai characters like the villains are great. It delivers.

The story though. Oh my god. Did the devs have to go this hard for a monster fucking smut game about defeated heroines? I mean it when I say this, the story became so enthralling and well written that I actually stopped caring about the pornographic aspects of the game entirely. The first game's plot was fine but was mostly just a fun lighthearted excuse for goblin fucking with a little bit of pathos toward the end. This? This game competes with SNES and PSX-era Final Fantasy. There's a shocking reveal late into the story that made my heart genuinely sink into my chest. The story elevates what would be a great RPGmaker hentai game to the level of masterpiece, it's not shock that this is one of the highest rated games on this site, it deserves it.

I finished out my review for Goblin Conqueror with the sentence "I'm definitely looking forward to the further games from this developer!"
I had no way of knowing back then that said game would be this good.

I rarely bother to give reviews for games,due most of the time somebody else already told what i want to say. But this time,i must,at least to add the 5 star rating for this "hidden" gem. I used to hate RPGM games,due the engine is outdated and most rpgm games i played lacked any creativity combat wise,it was either easymomde 1 hit everything,or a drag "real" combat. But this game somehow managed to make it somewhat interesting,to the point it doesn't feel boring (for me at least). The plot is more than decent,and i like the fact that the other games MC and her story (Goblin conqueror) is also in this game. So,if you want the full experience and understanding one of the "story arcs" in game,i suggest you to play that one first. That one is shorter,but still good.

TLDR; One of the worthy RPGM games,with lots of content/scenes. If the tags interests you,and you dont mind the RPGM engine,give it a shot,you won't regret it.

For a porn game, the fighting system is quite good. I wish more games used a similar approach.
The story is 8/10, mostly because of bland characters. Out of the cast, the most interesting one is the business lady. Not even the main character.
Porn is alright, lost of degenerate content and close to no wholesome consent. The best you can do is otaku ugly bastard after finishing the main story. What did our poor MC do to deserve such fate?

Took me 10 hours to finish. And the time flied like crazy.

What a story. You can literally make an anime out of this story and plots. I didn't expect this much depth and twists from a porn game where all the women look overly busty, but don't let that think that this game has any lacking in it's storytelling part. I would love to experience more stories like this.
The combat felt kinda grindy at first but later on I really enjoyed it.

And the sex scenes and the build-ups are also masterfully done. I am not a fan of pregnancy part, so, I mostly skipped those. But those who like will definitely love what this one has to offer.

If you want a good story game where you will feel like a part of the world and uncover the mysteries, and also like to have many fappable sexy moments, give this game a try.

didnt expect much at first, seeing how simplistic the art style is and how overly vibrant the sprites are, but holy shit i was captivated.
one thing i found lacking is combat difficulty, only during the last bossfight i had to use healing from earth stance. though i liked very much that protag had somewhat HEMA-based stances with a bunch of skills branching out from them. if this game had somewhat the same difficulty as "war demon kirsten", i'd call it the best rpgm game ever. but alas.
liked how carefully h-content was implemented, main story still felt serious and anything sex-related was mostly a side activity. the game doesnt even care if you complete it as a virgin, which is imo unusual. and in case with monster involving h-scenes the game even drops some lore on wtf and why they're doing what they're doing with the protag (sometimes a bit goofy).

also kudos to the game for not dropping its characters of the face of the earth once the protag had moved on to another block of story, i love that shit so much, helps to keep the world sort of alive.
should aslo mention that there's enough of post-story content, to provide an organic closure for all the events and character stories.

summing up: this is a proper game with proper story, not just walking gallery. could use somewhat more difficult combat and more VA (coz i dont flail around 5/5 rates lightly), but nevertheless, i recommend strongly.

This is a well-made game. Story was engaging although translation was subpar, Game designs looked very elaborate while images were interesting. Animation was not that good but didn't hurt the game in any way.

But like other RPGM games, this game made players do chores to hunt scenes by wandering over maps and repeating battles without clear walkthrough. In addition, I don't know why but degree of the grinding increased as the game progressed. Especially, I didn't appreciate the required 6-10 battles with prisoners.

I would recommend this game only if you are willing to kill 6-12 hours by wandering over maps.

im stuck at the very last boss fight. definitely challenging but i loved the game. great scenes, the combat is ok, grindy but rewarding, and i wish there were more H scenes. some of the story parts where you can't control the character are too long but still a great story so its all good.
