8- If they only pay a reasonable amount, like 1-2 dollars per month : normal people. Nothing wrong with that. You spend a reasonable amount and the developers gain enough money to be motivated.

I hope you are ready for the big guns Now I'm kind of interested, if there is any kind of data on what type of people use kicstarter or patreon and what do they support.

Your last one is pretty much what I consider a tip jar. But there are patreons where you get nothing for that ammount of money so it's just charity.

4,5,6,7 -> the only people I can imagine are people who earn so much that they can just throw it around without care.

I take it then that you spend all your money on food and housing and then send the rest to charity to help those starving people right? Or are you arguing that people can only spend money on hobbies that meet your rigorous moral approval?

I think porn patreon is a waste of money too, but there is nothing wrong with spending your money on something you enjoy.

A year ago they said it was almost done but needed a bit of work.

Christmas time she was pushing for 2017 end release.

Now they are barely half way done.

I've seen porta toilets at concerts less full of shit than this lot.

If you haven't backed these then please don't. There are plenty of projects that deserve your money that won't constantly lie to you.

This game will never see the light of day.

Oh I didn't know you were going to share that. Not that it really matters since it's what I'd tell someone asking in my public Discord, I just don't want anyone to have the illusion that I've set a finite date, cause I haven't.

As for the delays, sorry as always. I am honestly just pretty bad at this. Thinking I would be done a million years ago is also part of this. >n < Making visual novels is hard! ((Rolls around on the ground screaming))

That said, on the bright side, I have no plan on ever abandoning the project. We really are making consistent, albeit slow, progress. I've also done a good job of avoiding any scope creep. Aka, I'm still working on the same game I was a year ago, not a whole new beast.

Anyway SMDB sent me an email and told me to check out this website, so here I am. Nice to meet you guys. ow o

That said, I wanted to poke my head in and say hi, but I can't promise I'll be super active on this site. I already kind of have my hands full with making my game (obvs), as well as a public Discord, Twitter, and Patreon, that I try to update on a regular basis, so I am basically tapped out. Still, thanks for your interest in the game and I'm sorry again it's taken me forever and a half. >n <

Oh by the way, minor note, but I notice someone mentioned the file size of the images. Yeah, sorry about that, it was a rookie mistake. You might also notice the images have some pixellation, despite being huge file sizes. Did I mention I am bad at this? Anyway, wanted to reassure everyone that in the final version of the game there will be crisper and smaller sprites. I'm making the game on a toaster, so I just haven't gotten around to dedicating roughly twelve hours of my time to re-rendering every sprite in the game with a better compression. FML

Will fix it prior to launch though. <3

They already got the money and delivered almost nothing. So...

...in the end, my policy of never patreon / kickstarter, especially if porn is involved, is always the safest solution.
