I remember there were 10 days left to support for their kickstarter when i first discovered them. Thank the porn gods i decided to not be part of it. :FeelsGoodMan:
I remember super on edge as to whether support it or not, I decided to just buy it if it ever came out...... Who knows though, maybe we'll get a release this Christmas lmao.

My question is that with all that seems to be done why not release another demo build and call it an Alpha or for their Kickstarter backers at least?

Notice how over the course of 3-4 months nothing really changed
Yep and if Green is suppose to be more or less Perfect then they have more than enough to release another demo build unlike last time when it was just the Intro and less the 1/4 of an act with 2 or 3 normal CGs

I will say something that will be, i'm sure, surprisingly shocking.

Hear me out : progression charts can be forged. Who is going to know if what they write is true?

And in the mean time, you see some "fake" progress, you are happy, you keep paying, they get funds and patron's money.

Everyone is happy.

Especially me, since i'm wise enough to not pay even 1 single cent for porn games or porn in general.

I say, learn the lesson.

Now, take this as the advice it is, or take it as a teasing and get hangry at me simply because i'm telling an undeniable truth.

Money for porn is an hazard. Do it at your own risk.

You speak the truth. These charts could be nothing but lies to quell the anger of their backers, and with all the delays and "Please be patient it's coming" with it being over a year I'm glad I'm not one of them. But these charts are a double edged sword since it's showing how much is supposed done or at least playable then people can and will demand to see it especially if your a Backer from their Kickstarter. So if they keep delaying without showing anymore than a intro they may ask for their money back. So they should take notes from like, Sunsetrider, Mity, or DarkCookie and show them what you your progress report says is complete/playable.

I think you are forgetting that you can't ask for refunds on Patreon nor Kickstarter.

You do donations, there is no contract between you and the one you are funding.

You understand the risks and no one force you to donate money, so if things goes bad you can't sue them.

If you sue them, you will loose and end up having to pay the lawyer's fee.

Many people do not understand this. Without a contract signed by both you and the developer, your money are and will be considered nothing more that an act of good will, a donation.

Not that i can fault the average 18-19 or less years old naive boy who do not know these subtle differences. You get wise getting older afterall.

They get burn now, and they will learn from this experience.

So, uh, for those who still hope the game will see the light of the day eventually: according to the the sprite work is finished. This should (hopefully) speed up the rest of the development but yeah I can understand if nobody's holding their breath.

So far whenever a product had many or one giant holdup/s it ended in a big disappointment so yeah...not that interested anymore but maaaaaybe this time it will be different. *thinks about a famous quote from Far Cry 3*

Not sure if people still look here, just in case i thought i'd post this.

Just an update, nothing concrete... though the steam page says the release date is may 31st. not sure if its the actual release date. maybe just a place holder, other then that to sum it up. the dev says shes working side jobs and will be working this month, taking next month off to work on the game then working the month after.

other then that there are pictures of things that we haven't seen yet.

All I know is I backed this and have regretted it ever since. 2 years of bullshit, false promises and yet more bullshit.

From a "it's almost complete" to a chart that showed a hell of a lot of work left to go.

This is the game that stopped me using kickstarter.

Hey at least they're supposedly releasing a new demo amirite? /s

But really, I have never seen a dev either overestimate themselves, or underestimate how much work a game is; its kind of insane. All we can do is hope that one day we get something that at least slightly resembles what we backed.

If they said from the start "we're new to this, it might take a while to release but we'll keep you updated" not many would have complained.

I don't get why they just can't be honest.

They have something we liked the look of and wouldn't mind waiting for but they kill any faith we have by constantly lying.

Is that sarcasm? I feel like every first-time developer on kickstarter underestimates how much work they'll have to put into it. I've got about 15 VNs pending from various kickstarters/indiegogos and aside from maybe one, I don't think anyone has given up or cancelled. I've gotten some shitty rewards, like one game I paid for a hard copy of came literally off the dude's drive on a green dye CD with a thermal label, and an "artbook" that got ran off at the local kinko's.

This guy with Dragon Date seems to be one of the more active VNs from KS. He's constantly sending out these interviews with the dragon girls for some reason, and it's cute color and unnecessary, but it's nice to know we're not forgotten.

There are a lot of other projects I'm questioning, but I'm fairly confident this will come out at some point and be decent.

If i plan to give higher pledges on Patreon i have a long talk with the dev (if they are ready for that) and get myself a first impression how that person works. Reading through their Patreon to see if they have any sort of concept helps too. If i can smell the bloaded ego from a mile away i won't pledge. Already saw enough superheroes who had less meat in their underwear than a skeleton on its body. For Kickstarter...oh boy just stay away from that dead horse...

BTT: Do not support those scammers in any way if they dare to beg for more money somewhere else. Instead open your own hand and ask for the game. That will trigger them. <3

Because honesty doesn't pay in the short term, you wont get as many clicks if you add things like that.

Yes it was sarcasm, I personally don't think the idea of releasing a demo this late in development is a good idea. They have a set release date on March 31 (I'm not holding my breath to be honest), I think it would be better to just release the whole game.

I do agree with the activity though, even though the ama's are more of a distraction then anything. I have had more then one conversation with Akemari, and I have to say that she is pretty passionate about the game, and overall a really nice person.

I think Kickstarter as a whole was just shit for adult creators, even If I do hate Patreon to the bone it's a lot better for the adult games industry, even if its still pretty shitty.

I was an early backer so I keep waiting for every update with hope because I don't want to admit I might have wasted my money.

As things stand I'd rather think she underestimated the workload.

Huh, I had no idea it was a female creator.

Honestly, I just back if it's interesting and ignore it until it comes out, way less stress. I also agree late cycle demos are a waste of time. Better to focus on the game itself than take time to decide what to do about a demo.
