You have to first get drained by a monster girl who can give you a trait. Otherwise it won't pop up.

These are the monstergirls in the current version that have traits:
Catgirl, Slimegirl, Orc lady, Kyoko, Mushroom girl, and Beegirl.

Every monster girl will give you trait points, but as a majority of them don't have trait points coded in yet. You can't spend those unless you get drained by a specific girl who has them. Though to be fair as well will be switching off Ren'py and into Godot we will have an entirely different system in the future. It's actually super exciting but it's in a rough form, so I don't have anything to show for it atm. But I think you guys will really like it.

I'm fairly sure I was drained by several of those. At least based on the notifications. However, I went back to check and after closing and booting the game up again, the traits button is there now. I did nothing else besides close and open the game again, so maybe there's a bug like that.

Again I've answered this question multiple times in chat with clarity. If you guys are confused go re-read my responses. It's currently in the system as

but you can only spend them on girls that have traits (ones outlined above).
Either way it's kinda irrelevant as we're switching off Ren'py.

I GUESS it's possible it could be a visual glitch. But... I've re-ran 4 new saves and it popped up after being drained for a certain amount of xp (enough to unlock a trait) every time. I recommend to redo a save every time because we have a free lv 10 boost, and old saves are frequently buggy. (not sure if that's an issue but just stating it because it's true)

I think adding the friendship mechanic was a really good idea. Besides just fleshing out the girls, it adds some nice decisions as to who you want to fight for resources, and who you want to hang out with.

It's been a long time with no update! Sorry about that, we've been hard at work on the new patch. We're trying to get the Temple of Goon finished by the end of the month for the patrons (on top of working on animations!). I'll teaser some images for that. You guys/gals here at F95zone will be getting the 0.7 patch that adds a chunk of content (kunoichi scenes, spider girl, kyoko futa scenes, vampire scenes etc).

Temple of Goon is hand drawn completely by me in a rough sketch type style. Something different we were trying. We're going to have tons of the classic dungeon type vibes in this one! Traps/Tentacles/Crazy monster girls. Sorry again for the delays, but we're definitely hard at work. Also animation is tough! You'll just have to wait and see what we animate
