I have already completed Emma quest and now waiting for Megan story but not progressing. I need to progress Megan quest in order continue the story, and I am stuck at megan quest.

I tried to buy something from my mom's computer but it won't let me buy anything and tells me there's nothing to buy and then if I had already bought something for her how do I know if I don't see the inventory

A super grindy game with multiple paths? And if you don't regularly interact with each and every character their affection decreases? Is this hell?

There's something interesting here, but the system and these mechanics are absolutely unbearable.

After waiting for some people to help me with the various issues I identified with, and seeing the lack of assistance, I decided to start over from scratch and thus complete the path.
Some post-pathway considerations:

  1. The help system, despite having several shortcomings that I will list, works if you start from scratch, whereas if you start from old saves, it seems to fail to correctly track what has been done and what has yet to be completed.
  2. There is no indication (which only appeared at the end of the path, and in a couple of cases) of how many times an action should be repeated (if it’s always the same, you get tired and stop, whereas on the nth repetition, something changes).
  3. There is no indication of where and when to encounter a character and interact with them (if you’re not in a specific place or time, that dialogue and action won’t appear).
The game is still beautiful, though it seems the "producer" doesn’t pay enough attention to the "user experience."

Around this point you need to take Emma shopping, choose to buy something for her when she enters the dressing room, buy the dress she chooses. That triggers taking Emma on a date. During the date an event happens that will trigger you to buy Megan a gift.

Did you finish Megan's? I went with Megan to to a concert and her story ended after "for this version" of the game. I think it might trigger Lin's story maybe in the future. I then spent a few nights with Emma which ended "for this version". I then went to Avril's and right in the middle of a scene it kicked me back to the town map. The next day I went back and did the same Avril story which ends again in this version. Nothing left to do at this point...
