I have done a little of the gallery in between episodes I have done...mostly to take a break from skimming the walls of text.

Here's a test preview (note: not final)...

Gallery part of the mod will include Labels, Stars (when a scene has variations, such as alternate costumes), and icons (to denote what kind of content the scene contains), oh... and any missing scenes I deem fit to add.

Lewdlab made it so you can switch between the scene variations in the GOG release provided you've seen each of them once. The stars will show which variation you've seen and the preview picture will change depending on which variation you have unlocked. For example the scene in the first screenshot above labeled as, at least for now, "Day 5: A womans body" the preview picture shows Mrs. Turner in the MC's doorway which is from the scenes Love path variation however if you've only seen the Corruption paths variation she's in the Kitchen and the MC approaches her so the preview picture will show a preview from that variation instead; it will show the current preview if both variations are unlocked.

The mod will be for the GOG release currently on here, v1.0.3.

Once I'm done with that I'll port it over to work with the Steam version (which is currently v1.0.2). The game saves are not transferable between the two versions ATM because of the newer Renpy engine used in 1.0.3. I'll put together the files necessary to update the Steam release to the GOG release with the mod so saves work for both versions.

As for progress, it's going to take me a while as RL and work take priority. Episode 7 is done. Next is Episode 8. Once I'm done all the episodes I'll be speed running through the game a few times to look for errors and make corrections before release. (I may ask for help with this).

Edit: Here's the Achievement Screen (note: work in progress) that I threw together while working on Episode 7...

For Lain's Mod you have to rename the "episode1.rpy" file in the "game\scripts\dialogue\dod" folder to "script.rpy" as the mod is outdated. Be advised this will break all the script updates in the GOG version of the game, but the Mod will work.

Update on my mod in progress...

Episode 7 is done, minigame guides functionality is working, just needs some UI images made up, cleanup and data entry and some final rounds of testing. Achievement and Ending guides the same. I've done my first pass at episode 8, need to test and bug fix any errors or sections I may have missed. I've been super busy with RL so I haven't had much time this past month, but I hope to spend more time on it next week. Sorry still no ETA.

Sorry no new updates. Still working on it but RL been super busy. I hope to get a bunch done while I'm on holidays next week but I still can't promise any type of ETA.

Fucking finally. Thank you brother. I just wanted to play the game with mod.
I was fking around all the extraction files saying where tf did i go wrong.
they should seriously mention this on the 1st page or the download page

Sorry, not ready yet. Been working doubles since my holidays and haven’t had anytime to work on it since (two ppl quit so I’ve been absolutely swamped). Work should be slowing down by end of the month and I can get back to work on the mod on my spare time.

I’m done up to episode 10 and I have a list of about 40 items requiring attention, some quick (making images, fixing small things I’ve noticed, etc) and some time consuming (gallery, episodes 11/12, etc); once these items are looked after I’ll release it.

Sorry still no ETA.

So this mod doesn't work with the currently obtainable version of this game from this site? I was wondering if I was doing something wrong...
