Here I leave my 1st tests with Daz. I sure find lighting a scene very tricky lool.
I used a preset pose.

(didn't let it finish since it was gonna take a long time. The results pretty amazed me. The light looks awesome.

I'm not conviced how the skin looks in the final render. The light set differently than later when I rendered with Iray

Wow 3Delight looks like 2006. I'll have to remember to use Iray when I start playing with Daz.

LOL, maybe it does, you maybe it has to do with tweaking more settings.
Iray surely looks much better, but also the render time is a much longer distance. I'm not sure what render engine most people use here for their fan art

Iray for sure,3delight looks like crap. if you have nvidia card go to iray advanced settings and tick gpu and optix on if you haven't done that yet. Oh and always turn off camera headlamp, leaving it on makes the lighting look really flat.
Yeah, I turned it off. and checked gpu and optix (I have a GTX960).
The thing I find tricky about lights, is that what i see in the viewport and then later in the render is VERY different. And since DAZ seem to not have any way to have a quick visualization other than put to render, it makes the job harder lool, specially for a newcomer.

This is how the version rendered with Iray looked before hitting render LOL

I thought the background was not gonna be seen at all, but well, in the final product it does.

Just trying to tweak settings as much as I can while having a decent result, but without having to wait too long for a simple scene render...
