I liked the graphics and the story idea of this game. Unfortunately, it lacks in the execution (at least for me).

The characters are very shallow, ethics are tossed aside as fast as needed (there is one moment in which the character's dialog sugest's that he is worried for his dad - after already having invaded their parent's ralationship with no concern whatsoever). The corruption or seduction moves way too fast for my taste and some sex scenes seem to be thrown in just to cover up the lack of story. Expecially the MC's visits of bedrooms during the night or morning are especially strange as the other family member's are still around but must be conveniently locked in their room so they don't accidentally catch the MC being naughty. And don't get mew started on the multiple times characters fear for someone to wake up while they are making them cum (or dry-sticking fingers up their asses).

Edit: Another thing I should add: Why are the bonus scenes (that are totally unconnected) interrupting the storyline? It feels really distracting and it's not that the story drags on with no sex scenes where the bonus scenes might have been a relief.

I don't understand why this game is so highly rated, I had to quit once I'd played about a 3rd.

The primary themes of this VN are corruption and rape, but it's made far to easy by handing it to you on a platter with the use of magic.

The only good thing about this game is that the renders are fantastic, all the women are far too attractive though.

The plot is bland and unimaginative, plenty of games out there give you magical control over other people. What's even weirder is that your mum appears to be into you and jacks you off in your sleep before you even pull any magic moves on her. You also molest your younger 'innocent' sister despite saying earlier that you wanted to keep her out of all of this.

When it comes to choice there isn't much, you get to make a decision at one point with each girl as to how you treat them and I think that sets the path with them. The rest of the choices come down to what sex acts, nothing much that influences the story, pretty boring.

So yea, if all you care about is big tits and visuals then you've got some decent jerk off material here.

If you came for an engaging story that'll turn you on, look elsewhere.

Now I don't remember when I first tried this. I got bored and left it while for a while.

I was surprised when someone mentioned this was rapey. In my current experience back then, the sleep molesting was immoral but didn't go quite that far.

And WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! This is now basically a rape fantasy! Everytime It got toned down. But was still rather disappointing

Right. Now that I finished it, graphics are the only feature that are appealing for me. There is a developed story, but I'm the wrong audience for it. It was less than enjoyable.

This is a great VN, with a good selection of girls, and they're all fucking hot in their own way. The plot is a little bit cumbersome and I have yet to unlock the good ending, but cool that there are multiple endings. So you won't be spoilt for choice and content with this game. Your sisters and your mom and your aunt (so basically wincest) are the best girls in this, and all pretty different from each other. Well written and one of the "classics" in my eyes, I will probably have to do another playthrough soon. The only downside for me is that I only got the bad ending on my first playthrough and unsure how to get the good one!

Wonderful game with great graphics, superb animated scenes, and a nice story. I am glad that this was completed and I got the enjoy the complete story. And because it was the enhanced edition I got to enjoy the alternate scenes, extra scenes and DLCs as well.

The models are great and the animations are flawless. The story is good but a little confusing. Other than the mind control thing which I don't like the game is definitely a must play. The little roommate is the best girl for me

Dreams of Desire was a game I had skimmed past on occasion, but had my curiosity piqued by a '2021 Game of the Year Awards' from SexPositiveGaming that had it as the Top Harem winner. And I am glad that it was the needed nudge to play what is considered a classic by many on here.

It's decently written, with an interesting plot that does enough to keep it intriguing between the various H-scenes with a quality-over-quantity cast.

H-scenes
Overall the animations and statics are exceedingly well done thanks to the high-quality models; though I was using the Quality Patch.

The "worst" complaints you will find is the occasional minor clipping, and the somewhat awkward posing/positions for one or two scenes.

Mostly vanilla in terms of kink variety, but enjoyable nonetheless; especially if you have a foot-fetish (but there's always another option if it's not your thing)

In conclusion: If you enjoy the Love/Corruption harem fantasy, want an interesting story, and quality H-scenes... yet haven't played this. Change that

Solid game, this was my first proper Ren'py adult game before this i had played a few but nothing to this standard.

The storyline is quite interesting and doesn't feel bland or cliché, through each chapter there is steady progress and i never found myself bored.

The scenes are top quality and cater to both vanilla preferences but also have a very good amount of fetish content (particularly foot fetish) which is optional if it isn't your thing but personally i love it.

My favorite thing about this game is the night time scenes.
Amazing stuff everyone should give it a go if you haven't already!

One of the first games I ever played with these gorgeous, high-resolution models. Beyond the visual, there's a really fascinating plot that unfolds and I honestly love the unexpected twists and turns.

The OG 'cest-fest modernized

DoD Definitive Edition contains many small improvements and new scenes which add just enough to modernize the game (somewhat) and make it worth replaying.

It isn't however completely on par with modern games but I have a soft spot for the first complete AVN I played – this game showed what the whole thing was about.

Plot-wise it's full of porn logic and the mc is literally magical. Don't expect anything earth shattering and you'll be happy. Still there is a story and it's a good attempt – what happens in between just requires for you to accept the porn logic.

The animations are serviceable and with the quality mod the image quality is also on par with many newer games.

Just try it. It's a completed game which is rare as hen's teeth by itself. Other than the constant childish inner monologue of the MC, there's not much to hate or to irritate you.

Dreams of Desire has a corruption route which I don't think works very well. You are better off going for the true end only. There's one really hot scene if you go corruption tho. The story is ok but it doesn't feel resolved by the end. The girls and the renders are great. It's a quality game worth looking into.

The girls were not bad, but i had some issue with the main plot and the clothing of most girls.
I found Jenna and Tracy really good, and mom was okay but problem with her clothing, often. Alice was not to my liking but... each his own.
Aby was okay too but she didn't really connect with the main character i find (and story gives explanation as to why).

For the rest, the plot was really not very fun for me.
Visually, the game was okay.

The definitive edition really took this game up that last notch to brilliant. It looks amazing, has a great cast of LIs and a rather compelling story by VN standards. The writing is solid if not the game's strongest point, the sex scenes are hot as fuck. If you for some unfathomable reason haven't played this game yet, I recommend you fix that!

Always thought it was awesome that the dev wasn't afraid to explore fetish content more than other games do.

Foot fetish isn't my main kink, but it always makes me roll my eyes when I see the footjob tag on a game, because I know it's gonna' be like, a scene where a chick's foot grazes the MC's dick under a table for 2 seconds.

This game actually focuses on that kink more, along with some heavier shit like mind control (obviously) and BDSM themed stuff.

And, hey, it's a fucking completed game that you can actually enjoy from start to finish with no abrupt endings, holy shit.

This is straight-up THE BEST INCEST GAME out there.

- the models look amazing.
- the characters and their actions make sense
- the MC is a decent human being
- there are so many fetishes in this game
- the story is REALLY good and engaging
- the relationships are believable
- there's a perfect balance for the amount of dialogue and sex scene.
- and my favorite genre "Incest" is very good in this game.

It starts interesting, with plenty of choices and a workable premise. The art is good, and the sex scenes are ok and varied.

But as the game progresses the quality deteriorates. Player choices become sparse, and the game turns into a kinetic novel, with a story way too much up its own ass to justify the lack of interactivity.

Worst of all, the game’s ending is determined by what might be the worst possible mechanics: with – I believe - the possibility of locking yourself into a bad ending if you make rude choices at the very start of the game. I cannot believe someone thought it was good idea, especially giving the genre.

One of the worst scenes was when the MC attends a party and his sister, Alice, is there talking to some guy. The developer has the guy straight talk shit about the MC to his face and your sister, whom he's supposed to be super-close to, does nothing. Ridiculous.
The graphics are dated. New porn games are already nearly photo-realistic.
Developer was too lazy or cheap to buy breakfast graphic assets so you essentially eat a sandwich for breakfast every morning.
The MC is completely unlikeable with absolutely no charisma and his dick looks outdated. There was one scene when his sister, Alice, takes a peep and his dick looked like a pointy stick.

Dreams of Desire is a game that, for me, was somewhere in the middle, but ended up falling on the bad side of the line. The reason is mostly the story. Don't take me wrong, it has some pretty decent ideas, even though all the "magic is real and there are secret organizations" is way too cliche. But the first problem with the story is how it develops, it has plenty of scenes that don't add much and many good ideas are lost on the way. And, what is worse in this kind of game, it feel like choices have no impact in how things go on anyway. So it ended up becoming a bummer and, even though I started readin everything with interest, it all ended up becoming a quick skip button mash. And I don't get it why people call every other "roommate" or "landlady" when they clearly have the relationship of family, not of people sharing a flat.

As far as render quality goes, the game has some pretty decent ones. Animations are so-so, a bit mechanical and uninteresting on many occasions though there is some improvement as the game progresses. And, as far as sound goes, I muted it since almost the beginning since I didn't like the music it played. And, at least for me, there were no bugs worthy of mentioning.

So, all in all, it's not a terrible game, but it isn't good either. And it ends up feeling pointless and unrewarding to advance.

This was a complete bust to me, all this hype for what?
Voice acting?
Mediocre animation?
Bad renders?

At the end of the day money is money and that was the sole motivation here, even if it meant totally crapping on your other game and those fans.
