I'll prefix this with "I'm fine" Do not worry about me.

Someone once said "everyone has one good story in them." probably true. I won't go into too much detail, but the 'daughter' character is based on a real life person who I lost in 2001. No, It wasn't my daughter (I had just left school in 2001) but It was someone I cared deeply about.

She was killed by a drunk driver, who didn't have the guts to stick around. I wasn't there and I should have been, I let the person I cared most about down. I've come to terms with that over the years, but something that I feel never gets talked about is having to watch the horrific toll it took on her family.

It destroyed them. It tore them apart and they were never the same afterwards. Something like this never gets spoken about in the media, they don't show the real heartbreak, pain and suffering of those who simply want to know - why?

I've long since lost contact with them, They split up and moved away, and I got on with my life. But this is my story to tell. The 'mob connections' and rampant sex are of course completely fabricated. I've often imagined myself in the situation the family were in - I had my own demons to content with and, to this day I still ask, why.

No one's given me an answer to that.

This is not the typical 'porn fantasy' I'll tell the story as I see fit, I plan to have a happy ending (if you choose that path of course) but unfortunately, there was no happy ending for her family. I know many who play this have suffered loss, and even then the amount of grief I talk about in the game barely scratches the surface. I could spend an entire update showing the MC wallowing in self-pity, Feeling guilty, Hating everything and contemplating suicide.

That's not the answer, this is intended as a porn novel after all. But if you ever feel a subject is glossed over, know its more for brevity and pacing than for lack of feeling on my part.

Probably a bit heavy for this site. Anyway, I'll be livestreaming this Saturday - will be making a promo render of whomever wins the 'Best DoR girl' vote that's currently running.

People we care deeply about are their own person.
Here is a lengthy digression about babes and what it means to care:

I felt the anguish and heartache in the loss, and the healing in the love of the couple as they grieve. I know that part doesn't always happen in real life, but this story arc leaves me with hope and inspiration. I confess I had to wipe some tears at some points. I experienced this as a top movie, but better, because I could take it at my pace, and be in the moment. Regardless of the story from this point, I had to let you know how your story impacted me.

Another week, another update. I have quite a lot planned for this month, but before that - an update on where Dreams of Reality Ch3art Two is right now.
Currently the script is holding steady at just under 20k words. There is still some writing to be added and a final edit before it goes into the game. Of course there is also the playthrough edit I will do once the update has been completed.
I have 2160 animation frames and 597 static renders (this number will increase).
I have a very (VERY!) provisional release window of the end of next month. A little longer than I had hoped, but given the branches leading into the aforementioned ending it does require a lot more script and scene work.
