The whole thing where the "landlady" and the MC look eerily similar for mysterious (or, obvious) reasons was getting pretty old.

This type of thinking is a mistake on his part: it is not Patreon or Subecribestar that define the success of a given game but rather its quality, if the game is bad it will not be Patreon that will save it.

This dev isn't 17Moonkeys. This game was started by them but then he sold the game and all the models to this dev. They are two different people.
