been done like zillion times, neither breaks any patreon rules and they bring money so patreon doesn't do shit.

i'm sure of that but still icstor, scamdrop and other scammers collect money w/o doing anything except bsing supporters. also assumed dead dev still gets money from patrons (not much (bit over 100 bucks per month) to some but a lot to some devs).

no, maybe 50 pages are when dev was still making this game. there are still some new players wandering here and they have to be warned.It takes 716 pages to do that?

The way it usually went is one of these:
1. Somebody states that DF is a scam and gumdrop is a scammer. Usually chooses words poorly and goes way beyond the first assertion, claiming gumdrop planned it from the start and so on. Somebody corrects this post on some points and gets called a shill that's defending this scam.
2. A shitstorm ensues, people take camps until names are called, posts are reported and mods swoop in, delete the most recent inflammatory posts, hand out some bans and nobody wants to touch this thread with 10-foot pole for a while. Because of this, the last couple of pages are random posts which don't connect, and this happpens:
3. Some poor soul wanders in, sees these snippets of information and innocently asks if the game is still ongoing. This either is (hopefully) corrected quickly and the thread dies for a while, or somebody swoops in, twists this poor soul's words and calls him a shill that pretends gumdrop is still working on the game, and it's back to number 2 (pun intended).
4. When the thread is quiet for a while, some white knight will appear to lead a crusade against gumdrop, calling for him to be banned from patreon, asking people to report him to patreon admins and saying that the scam is so obvious that patreon won't hesitate to ban gumdrop.
They never suggest what exactly to write in the report or how to proceed and nothing happens. Several people claim they wrote to patreon, but for some reason their clear-cut case wasn't so clear-cut and patreon didn't ban gumdrop yet.
5. Various people state that:
• gumdrop isn't technically breaking any patreon rules;
• nobody bothered to upload version 0.99 here (when it was still up, and that was before the "DFX" scam), so we don't know if infringing scenes from version 0.98 were still present in version 0.99 (we can presume were removed);
• nothing new occurred that could get him banned;
• gumdrop was already reported multiple times.
6. Others come and say that people from point 5 above are shills for gumdrop and number 2 happens again.
If we could all agree what to write in that one post, we could probably wrap up this thread and delete all new posts that don't add anything.

0.99CE should be still at gamesofdesire (and maybe dlable on other places) but what was told on this thread it doesn't add anything.
dunno what patreon rules state but if scamdrop posts something which satisfies his patrons then don't think patreon has anything against that. same applies to icstor and others.

Okay, fair enough. Still, given his track record and lack of a ban, Gumdrop apparently is no longer breaking any Patreon rules on objectionable content, so at least the "aunt rape scene" must have been gone from version 0.99 (or rewritten).
I've no idea, I didn't actually play DF after some mid release (part four or five), just downloaded it to rip it and see new graphics.
Just to offer my perspective: This is a summary of what happened to this fiasco. It is necessarily succint and doesn't list all events that happened.
Dual Family was meant to be a game with a long buildup split into three acts, which were allegledly supposed to encompass three phases of building an (incestuous) relationship: friendship, romance, sensuality.
The first act was intended to have ten parts, most people expected subsequent acts to have ten parts as well.
Gumdrop Games is the developer of Dual Family who delivered the first eight parts of act one on a monthly schedule. He then lapsed into a short hiatus after making part eight (skipped one or two months) and released part nine. After that, he slipped into an indefinite hiatus that is still ongoing. During that time, he put together a "prequel" of sorts, a Christmas episode.
In the meantime, Gumdrop was banned from Patreon twice.
The bans happened when Patreon started accepting Paypal as a payment option and was demanded by Paypal to no longer accept objectionable content.
The first ban was over incest, after which he renamed the game to "DF" and remade the title card to no longer clearly state "DUAL FAMILY". Version 0.98 was released. The default settings no longer made allusions to family relations in the game, though you could rename characters and name their relations towards you, the MC.
The second ban was apparently over other objectionable content. Version 0.99 was released, it was not attached here.
The second ban was longer than the first and both were very painful financially as both of them continued over the 1st of a month, so Gumdrop lost revenues from two months.
His patrons were clamoring for Dual Family to be completed, and Gumdrop strung people along by claiming Part X is just around the corner and set deadlines for the game to be completed.
Those deadlines were all meaningless. After a while, he stopped making believable deadlines and started claiming that he's bolting on additional features to Dual Family (like videos), which caused additional delays.
Each of those deadlines was broken.
Gumdrop dropped hints that he doesn't intend to finish the game while still setting and breaking deadlines. He made increasingly emotional posts that attempted to clear up reasons for the game's delay and a year ago he admitted to being lazy and losing interest in DF (though not in the money it brought hime).
This was made to be believable, and Gumdrop admitted as much this year by saying he didn't want to complete DF because he ran out of ideas, but said that he would soon release DFX and make everything right again.
Up until that point, a reasonable person might believe Gumdrop, especially if they dropped money on him.
Since then, it became clear that Gumdrop doesn't intend to ever finish his game.
DFX was released to much fanfare and was clearly a troll release. "DFX" played on people's hopes for Part X and that it would tie up all loose ends (remember, though, that it was always meant to be the last part of one act out of three).
Later "DF Legacy" was released, Gumdrop is in full scammer mode.
If it wasn't for copyright and high risk of Gumdrop litigating, some ambitious developer could already remake and wrap up Dual Family with better writing and better graphics.

Besides incest, pedophilia/loli, bestiality and fringe paraphilias, patreon also strongly polices rape in all forms, including mind control, manipulation, substance abuse, coercion, sex slavery, etc.
Melkai What's with the facepalm? I mean, a like is a like, but I just listed what Patreon considers inappropriate content. If you're reacting to that post, at least explain what you meant.
