I hope that this project will not mean that The Cursed Mansion will fall into oblivion.:( As for the game itself, it is a DEMO version, so no conclusions should be drawn, but the potential is there. Also, I don't know why the criticism of AI. If you don't like it, there are so many other games that don't use it.For now, support for this project as well as for The Cursed Mansion, which I also like.:)
The Cursed Mansion will continue to develop exactly as intended, and it remains the priority.
I had planned the launch of Duchess of the Underdeeps for a long time (it's been a few months since the announcement, I think), so I scheduled everything in a way that I would have enough time for it as well.
Of course, there are no miracles - sooner or later I'll have to sacrifice time on one project for the sake of the other.
Thats why, unlike The Cursed Mansion, which releases updates on a set schedule, Duchess of the Underdeeps will receive updates as new content accumulates.
At first, this will happen relatively regularly (I expect about once a month), and later the time between releases will increase.

Every time someone in the AI-game threads complains about the use of AI graphics, the same counterargument appears - "use Daz3D instead." But that's not accurate. The kind of AI artwork used in adult games today is actually an alternative to 2D illustration, not 3DCG. This creates a false impression that you've lost a good 3DCG game and received a 2DCG one in return. But in an alternate universe, those AI-based games would most likely have been hand-drawn in Photoshop rather than made with 3DCG tools.

Hello everyone!
Here’s a quick update on everything.

Three and One:
Update 0.27 is currently in development, and based on my estimates it won't be ready before the middle of next week - thats December 17.
However, there’s a growing chance that the release will be pushed by a few days (to December 19-20).
This update will include four scenes (2 main scenes + 2 fallback scenes that may replace them depending on conditions), and these scenes take a lot of time to produce.
Right now, 70% of the story is done, and one scene is fully completed. I'm working on scene 2, and two more scenes are still needed.
I will not cut any content - I would rather delay the release.

Duchess of the Underdeeps:
I will continue working on it after December 20.
I plan to finish the core features (functional inventory, items, journal, map, etc.).
I'm considering adding a bit more immersion (Jenny won't need to eat or use the bathroom) - there will be a body surface status system (dirt, wetness, maybe something else…) which will apply corresponding overlays to Jenny's sprite.
I might also give her a cycle (for the future - who knows what awaits her).
The first interactive activities will be added as well.
Jenny will be able to wash under a waterfall, swim, and do various other things…
And the setup for the upcoming main story arc will be introduced.


And one more thing:
The Discord server is already up. It has themed channels - separate ones for girl artwork, a separate RAW pack thread with easy preview navigation, and later there will be a full guide section.
But I still need a couple more days to put everything in order there. As always - release first, cleanup later.

That's all for now. I've created a new poll just below - you know what to do with it.

How is the dev doing with the next release? Will we have something soon?
In a few days, v0.02 will enter early access, and on the same day v0.01 will become public. In 0.01 I added several cave locations, a bunch of small groundwork tasks like the inventory, sleep system, quest system (most of this does not really make sense yet, but it had to be done), and continued the dream scene. In 0.02 there is much more content, since a proper framework is now in place that content can be built on.

The dream scene needs work because her tit is getting groped by two big hands and then it changes to a little goblin with small hands that can barely hold it. Unless you are doing some sort of story where a goblin becomes smaller when it comes into contact with a human I don't think that works well.

Hi. You probably still have a save from the demo, right? I changed the quest system a bit there, so it is possible that in your old save a variable still has the old name, while in the current version it already has a different one. On a clean save everything progresses normally for me. I should say right away that during the first five or six updates, saves may be a bit unstable, because I sometimes add or change various things, and saves really do not like that :)

Yeah, those hands really did not turn out very well there. When I was making the demo, I had the image of a classic goblin in my head, about half the size of a human. Later I decided to make them small instead, but the hands stayed the same. I will come back to that scene later and rework it a bit. The AI completely messed up the color correction in that animation anyway, so the animation will need to be replaced, and the hands along with it.

I stopped playing your first project because i was tired of starting from the very beginning several times and because it doesn’t have a walkthrough. I’m waiting for the project to fill up with content and then i’ll give it another chance, but today i saw your new project and i immediately had questions.
Will you develop both projects in parallel?
Aren't you afraid that if you work on two projects at the same time, you might burn out and this will clearly affect the timing of new updates?
The first project will be on hold or abandoned?

I’m waiting for the project to fill up with content and then i’ll give it another chance, but today i saw your new project and i immediately had questions.

I will be working on them in parallel. Three and One updates are released on a schedule, while Duchess of the Underdeeps comes out whenever it is ready. So far it has been fairly regular, but later on updates will most likely require more time. I am prepared for that.
I am not burning out. I started a second project specifically so I could rest by switching to a different task.
Three and One will get a walkthrough, but only after the 0.3 release (April? May?).
Duchess of the Underdeeps does not really need a walkthrough, I think.

I did start new game same thing . could you gave a good save as she enter water please One more thing were are save i can't find them please help ? Its ok found saves . the game is save as The Maw Chamber .
You can start over, then hold Ctrl and the story part will be skipped in a couple of seconds. Just saying, in case you did not know :)
