The issue with the outfit isn't in its color or textures but its design - it is very loose and looks like a bath- or a night robe loosely wrapped around her naked body, like she just woke up and threw it on herself with little care. The same can be said about her hair - it's not messy, but it's a very simple design. I might be wrong, but to me it looks like you guys have been trying to recreate the Balsamique design for her:That's supposed to be her standard outfit. Maybe it looks relatively simple because it is so dark, almost uniformly black? Also, a good part of her outfit is obscured here. Personally, I feel that it has a good level of sophistication to it. The only thing I would have liked to add is a certain kind of hood or very wide-brimmed hat. We just haven't found one so far that looks good *and* functions properly. We are using the newest generation of character model, and there aren't that many assets out there for it yet, compared to the previous generation, but that is slowly changing.
You're not wrong about the similarity with Balsamique's design. When I started writing the fanfic it was basically just supposed to be like "BtD but longer and more detailed". And that was also the time when I cosidered the functionality of her dress. And I determined that a robe like that allows her to show as much booba as she needs at any given time. Perfect for her character. When she's doing official business and needs to look respectable, she can wrap the robe tightly around her, showing little more than her neck. But when she wants to beguile someone, all she needs to do is loosen the robe and let her titties almost spill out (It took us a long-ass time to find a robe that could actually do that instead of being permanently closed or completely open. I think I can speak for the three of us when I say I'm extremely happy that you like it so much! Most of the AI merit goes to lmno , who is the master of prompts. Also the fact you want to get into modding the game make as me feel humbled, and proud that you like it so much! Can't wait to see what you do with it!!This game is really nuts, one of the best games I've played on this site. On par with and in some ways even better than behind the dune. Only complaint is that there is not enough of it, a lot of it is perfect.
Like other people, not a fan of the future Daz3D move at all. Usually AI art looks very mediocre in games, but this is one of the only games I've seen where the AI art is pretty much done perfect and it's clear you guys put a lot of time and love into it.
It sounds weird for me to say this, but it would be pretty upsetting to see you guys move on from the current art style to Daz.
Otherwise I'm pretty excited to see where this will end up in a few years. I'd like to mod it sometime in the future, add some cool features. Particularly a feature that procedurally generates NPCs with image support like what I'm doing for the game I'm currently developing.

Yeah I’ve been using AI the past 4 months and AI can be very limiting. I managed to get passed the posing problem by using base daz models to serve as reference images for specific poses, it works very well and has near 1 to 1 pose accuracy. Though I think the only way you can really create accurate faces is if you create a lora or modify the pictures manually with photoshop so I see where you guys are coming from there.The AI was incredibly limiting as to what we wanted to show (as well as some loose legality regarding AI content in general). Although moving to daz3d may remove some of the artistic nature of some of the images, it allows us to do and show more, which should benefit everyone.

It was a custom one I made from merging several checkpoints together, I'll let you know when I can find it again.If you don’t mind, I’d really like to know which checkpoint and lora you’re using for the characters, though I understand if you’d rather keep it to yourself else other people start generating similar stuff to you

Yeah me too.On top of the fact that I just much prefer 2D characters for 2D games and 3D characters for 3D games, with some exceptions.

The AI was just way too limiting in a variety of ways. The technology would have to improve a lot for us to even consider going back. Maybe some day we will be able to just feed our Daz renders to an AI and get a perfect copy in a 2d style of our choice, without having to tinker for days.

I had to switch focus to my own game (need money lol) but I'll return to it later. The main files are CC Male and CC Female. They show the base character configurations with around 50 configurations I think, at least for the female. The female has 5 different breast sizes, wider hips, 2 skin colors, 6 eye shapes, 7 eye colors, 7 outfits (breast sizes not configured yet), 10 hairstyles and 4 hair colors. I haven't really started the male yet but all the files to set up male are already included, I just have to photoshop them. The fingers and some of the clothing and hairstyles need polishing.
The 2D Character Creation.html is the code that would in the future allow character editing/creation/generation.
Yeah I hope I can get back to finishing it soon. The idea is that there will be an infinite game loop in terms of content so people don't have to wait a month or two for updates. Like I said, I think the preview pic "swallowed" a lot of the detail of her dress. I don't think it looks like a simple bath robe at all.

Now you may be right about her hair/lack of a hood. But I feel the rest is totally fine.
