Really enjoyed the first chapter of this, so personally I hope the next chapter comes soon enough.
Having said that, given that both lmno and reynold.biplane are developing this VN in their spare time, so I understand it will take time for the next chapter to arrive (it is what it is).
In the meantime, I decided to give reynold's Programmed to Breed (fanfic which this VN is based on) Chapter 1 a read.
Having finished it, I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Yes, there are several sections which are copied and pasted from this fanfic to the VN (given it's an adaptation of PtB, it shouldn't come as a surprise), but there also several scenes which are told that are not present in the VN itself.
My favorite scenes which were not included in the VN I'd say are Lady Jessica's pov scenes.
There are some elements of it which remains in the game yes. But several scenes did get cut in the game, which is understandable given Paul is the player MC.
Regardless, those Jessica pov scenes gives more insight as to her thoughts and in-depth behind the scenes as to what she does (many I like, though real standout scene for me was
Reverend mother instructing Jessica to take personal charge in Full Sexual Education program to Paul, heh
).
For people who enjoyed this game, I'd suggest you give that fanfic a read (link in the OP under Dev Notes), it feels very complementary to the game in terms of experience.
p.s. Might give Balsamique's Behind the Dune a go soon.
Even though I'm slightly hesitant that compared to this game it's not as serious in tone, ngl I am pretty curious about it.
