Please continue this. Also focus on the jessica path. Love me some milfs
Jessica is the main course. Romancing her won't even be optional.
A gameover is actual NTR...
Also BtD did have actual NTR as well... a lot of it. (the sister with the body guard, the cousin with a gang, the wife with a gang, and many others, with a few having no choice, hence it being NTR, there was also NTR ending).
Just because an NTR fan wouldn't be happy with it, or satisfied, doesn't mean the NTR doesn't stop being NTR, just isn't adequate for someone who is looking for it. (But is still enough to make people ignore it as a result.
Anyway you should update the tags adding Netorare since you have a Netorare scene, bad ending or not, tags are what the game has, not what the main theme is, could be the tiniest of scenes, but you still add the tag. (e.g. one small scat scene in the whole game, gets it the scat tag).
O and for those that would care about NTR... sharing is basically the same thing to them
Netorare is cheating by one partner against the express wishes of the protagonist. Sharing isn't NTR, rape isn't NTR and there can't be NTR without an established relationship.
If you don't like any of these things, that's fine. Hell, even if you dislike any random woman having sex with anyone besides the MC, that's fine. But don't call it NTR. We have accurate names for fetishes for a reason.
Irulan getting gangbanged by Fremen in BtD happens at the behest of the MC - not NTR.
Chani and Harah in the dungeon - rape, although the women aren't protesting too much, so admittedly it's teetering on the edge to NTR
Alia seducing Duncan - potentially NTR, depending on what happened between her and the MC previously. Ok, I'll give you that one.
The endings with Leto - they're married, not technically NTR. But hose are weak-ass endings for sure.
That one gameover in this game also isn't NTR. Even if it wasn't rape, the protagonist is dead at that point. If anything, this game has Netori, because the mother is cheating on her husband with her son.
I get that NTR is a convenient shorthand for your kind of people, but I'm strictly against putting it in the tags, because I don't want to put off people like myself, who strongly dislike actual NTR but don't mind all the other stuff.
Thankfully F95 is working on new tags, so hopefully the game can be properly tagged in the future.
So there's a bad game over scene... hmm a pity
Does this game have cheat or is there any way to make my character impossible to lose?
No need for a cheat. If you have a functioning brain, you will be able to avoid it. I consider this gameover a conscious choice. Although future updates could potentially introduce gameovers, that can't be seen from a mile away.
The 2021 film was my first introduction to Dune universe, and I enjoyed that film very much.
Haven't read the books yet, nor have I played the Behind the Dune as others have.
But I tried out your first release and ended up quite liking it.
Writing, while it is a parody doesn't feel like a parody (I like that while there's silliness to what's happening, there's gravitas in the tone. If that even makes sense lol). And yes, it's AICG, but I quite like the almost hand-drawn like feel it gives in the artstyle that accompanies the text.
The game being in HTML format, due to not normally my preferred format of games made me initially hesitant, but I'm glad I gave this a try.
So regarding the game, till which book do you guys intend to adapt (while changing some parts to what fits for your game)?
All I know is that Paul is the MC of the first book (Dune, movies adapting into 2 parts) & the sequel book (Dune Messiah), and heard several times that Denis Villeneuve wants to adapt Dune Messiah for his third film so that he can finish adapting his "Paul Atreides Dune trilogy."
Makes me wonder whether you two will follow the same suit as him, or just adapt the first Dune book.
Even if it's the latter, I still think it would be a great feat, since the first book seems to be very thick and long and likely will become a long game.
But I guess I'm curious. As to where the endgame will be (even if it's long way away lol).
Thanks for the kind feedback! Much appreciated.
There are too many interesting things going on in the sequels, so naturally we would like to include them as well. It's just a matter of how long we will be able to continue this project. We aren't doing this professionally after all and I expect that years will pass, before we are done.
Exclusivement blanc ! les Freemen portent tous un distile lorsqu'ils sortent dans le désert...
Exclusively white! The Freemen all wear a distile when they go out into the desert...
Maybe. If the Fremen were descended from Africans for example, they probably wouldn't be fair-skinned even after thousands of years. We just don't know their ethnicity.
But there are people living on Arrakis, that don't wear stillsuits by the way. The city folk would logically have to look quite tan.
