At least I wasn't making puzzles.
Okay maybe i was a little too harsh, 'tis a bad habit to say exactly what i think which often burns.
But honestly, at this point you're not much better than those puzzle spammers on steam.
Nobody can make a hit with every work so don't even dream that you can, but at least they have the balls to try and aim for it.
You seem to have lost yours somewhere.
By not risking and always doing the same damn thing you'll never learn anything, thus, you curb your own potential.
You will not find a magical fairy here who will tell you that magical cooking recipe which will bury you in tons of cash, create your own recipes, you're the cook after all.
Also i can't believe you think 'retired hero gets slaves' was a success, did you even read my and other people's reviews of it?
https://f95zone.to/threads/retired-hero-gets-slaves-final-artoonu.139374/br-reviews
The sole fact that you got very few reviews to begin with, implies that it's so shit that nobody even wants to bother reviewing it.
Anyways, best i can recommend right now is to play some of the famous games here and learn from them.
This will at least give you some ideas on how to improve.
For example why don't you give
Ravager, mentioned by 'SomeRandom', a shot?
Thoroughly play this game and consider, think long and hard about what it is that makes it so much better than anything you've made.
I'm sure the results of this little exploration dip will be quite beneficial for you long-term.
If you still learn nothing after playing those games that are infinitely better than any of yours then... perhaps you're simply not cut out for this game devving thing. In which case maybe you should concentrate on improving your art, since you do seem to have some potential in that area. And then find work as a hired artist, drawing for games others make. Good artists are always in demand after all.
Adios! I hope one day you'll manage to make me write a 5 star review of
your game, and not only me but everyone else as well.
We'll see.
