Most feedback I get is "I fapped" or "Music too loud" so I can't even understand what to improve.
I mean... a lot of people bought and fapped to that stupid futa house something, and that game is straight up garbage. There's also Lovely Craft making 10k a month on
one stupid game mechanic with different ai slop character stickers applied on top. Money isn't a measure of quality, neither is the average joe's ability to swallow crap.
There is no recipe to what sells and what doesn't. Hell, those "furry love" games sell bonkers
and they don't even work. Even the art is just lifted directly from deviantart.
Want to know what sells and what doesn't? Patreon. Subscribestar. Sell access to those willing to buy, get a steady income over the entire project, and eventually you can sell it on steam as a completed product.
Don't know what you mean by "puzzles", but having
gameplay in your
games isn't a bad thing. Sure one might want a VN from time to time, but it's not all there is.
