You probably have played some games in the transformation genre before deciding to develop your own game. Are there any special games that inspired you and which you want to use as blue print for the design?

If you allow to skip the male encounters (MM) (what I appreciate), then you probably should add more events with female characters (Fm,FM, FF, Ff) depending on mc's transformation status to balance the number of events on each path. (And maybe add a lesbian tag for the case that the mc gets fully transformed and finds a girl.)

Regarding Stats there are some famous RPG systems like D&D or the Fallout SPECIAL system (Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck).

As I mentioned above, currently there is no inventory and clothing/equipment system (since it was not needed for the prologue), but in the long run you may need it, eg to differentiate between female and male clothing, sexy clothing, armor, etc.

Regarding GIFs and real porn :
I would suggest to use AI CG and some text instead of real porn whenever possible since your AI CGs have such a high quality that every real porn just looks bad in comparison. (If people want to watch porn, they usually know where to find it anyway.)
I would rate quality of some of your AI CGs similar to some Disney classics like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Again, thank you for your time! Regarding the first one, what inspired me, it’s hard to answer directly, because I played a very large number of games on this site, on the tfgames site, and I can say that at one point I just decided “damn it, I have to try to do this something too" and simply started with the concept that appeared in my head and began to develop it during the development and study of the engine, and has not stopped changing to this day.

Regarding the games you suggested: I played all of them except the last one and yes, I agree, they are great. I'll definitely try the last one, thanks!

Regarding the characteristics, it’s still difficult for me to decide, since I don’t plan to add any combat mechanics, I don’t think that I need characteristics such as strength. The story won't end with a simple game over if you can't get out of a dangerous situation. Any unsolved dangerous task will lead to different content, as I imagine it.

And now regarding gifs and real porn: I was actually a little surprised, but in the comments there are enough people who think like you, in the sense that people like the generated images more. Because on the contrary, I was worried that the use of artificial intelligence would scare people away. I personally like to see when a game uses some kind of gifs, but I can understand if it takes a little out of the atmosphere. But I will try to listen and look for some kind of compromise between myself and the audience, maybe it’s worth looking for some actors, assigning a “character” to them and, as a last resort, using images with them? Hmm, I'll have to think about it.

One thing to note from looking over the comments is that you should be careful not to try to change things with your vision too much based on them. if it's something you're happy to change then by all means.. but at the end of the day you're here making your game and not someone else's. if you change it so much that you end up somewhere you didn't want to be and lose interest in it that'd be much worse than sticking with what you wanna do and annoying some more vocal people in the process. the people that are happy with games are often less vocal about it since they don't have anything to complain about.

Also general comment towards several of the commenters. while it would be nice to have lots of choice and be able to do anything and everything in a game each choice does make the rest of the game a whole lot harder to code and work out so can be a bit of a pain and drag out development excessively. which is why a lot of time the games that are more railroaded at least to an extent are the ones that get finished while the fully open world and infinite choice games never really see a finish.

The camps are pretty divided overall, a lot of people will instantly reject any game that has AI images these days, but as long as you're using it right it's great for putting out mostly consistent art with your characters. Personally I'm a fan of either or but not generally mixed. The main reason to use AI art is to have more consistent character usage, but as soon as you start using videos/gifs (please use mp4 and not gif, there's almost no reason to do gif these days and all the reasons not to) you're tossing that advantage out.

Thank you for your kind words! Perhaps this is exactly what I needed to hear. Most likely, in the midst of such a large number of comments, which I did not expect at all, I began to get a little lost. I will try very hard not to deviate from my own desires and at the same time provide a choice of at least what I personally like.

Hmm, I actually think the idea of keeping the association with the character is still important, but like I said, I like to look at animated images. Maybe I can figure out some way to make it work together and not take away from the atmosphere, we'll see! If not, then maybe I'll switch to AI only. Filesize and quality are the benefits of mp4 over gif. If you use a bunch of gif your game will bloat massively very fast (half those 5gb+ html games we have here should be under 1gb if they used mp4 instead) and the compression on gifs is awful so their either small (which if you prefer them to look small you can always use dimension tags to make mp4 small too) or blurry, oftentimes both.

A! I got it, thanks for the advice then! I didn't like those huge games with tons of gifs either, but I just didn't think mp4 could handle it any better.

Actually I might be thinking of a different filetype too, (sorry for the ping but) Nutluck is often someone who helps newer devs with this problem.

Tossing in some more possibly unnecessary advice, but while it's great that you are active and involved with responses and such, try not to get too consumed with appeasing every voice. That path leads to madness.

Adjust as necessary as your desires dictate, but it's your game concept and story that got you started to begin with. Clearly there is enough interest to see where it goes.

I mean, if there ended up an option to roam around as a confident, slutty full package elf futa, I won't say no, but that's a very specific niche, and could be considered an even bigger curve ball on an already sensitive genre to some. So, case in point, my nonsense is likely one of those madness inducing directions.

Last bit: Two things I think the game has potential for, that others rarely seem to do well, is avoiding being a misery simulator (with the right choices). The MC may be a marshmellow, but they deserve better from a lifelong friend behaving the way she is. Guy, gal, or inbetween, raising the the protag up rather than pushing them down isn't explored too often with this genre.

But the hero(ine) does have some decent character types that actually care about 'em, so that's what's her names loss anyway. (Though it's all fun and games until the asshat she's getting boned by goes after the pretty new MC instead of her, effectively putting her in the exact same situation the protagonist was in at the start, for example. )

Another interesting way to explore the femininity dynamic, especially since it looks like the MC jumps straight to confused cutie appearance at the start, is just having a support character that can show how much fun it is to live as a free spirited woman, with over the top exhibitionist or lewd fashion, and embraces sex as a means of empowerment. Go team sloot.

But again, this is all suggestions only. Happy to inspire if anything takes, but I, and I'm sure many others will be even happier to see the game thrive over the months to come.

It might be a good idea to setup the ui so that every new sentence doesn't require scrolling down with a mouse.
Someone should really make a html ui tutorial.

Hey Dev thanks for the prompt response. Look, if I could just pick your brain for a second there's something that's been bothering me and I hope you can shed some light.

Did you make this game based on personal preference or was your intent market research related. The former of course would then be a "labour of love" of sorts (nudge nudge wink wink) whilst the latter would be motivated by financial gain.

The reason I ask is that, I've played a good few Hgames (-_- don't look at me like that, you're here too aren't you?0_0) and have noticed in recent times especially, this overwhelming almost conspiratorial push for de-masculinization (if that's even a word o_0) and it's freaky.

Close to (at least in my opinion based on what I've seen) 80% of games being released now are cuckold/NTR related. There are basically no Futa games (that are any good mind you) that aren't NTR heavy or sissification/humiliation based, Futa family, Futadom world, Tales of androgyny to name a few and inspite of the overwhelming feedback from the community being averse to it the product is still pushed with quite a bit of zeal in comparison to your more straight (pun intended) forward games like summertime saga or a struggle with sin (and even in the latter NTR is a HUGE feature, shout out to Chyos BTW love your game NTR OFF for the win baby) or is it just me?

Idk how to break this down for you, but games like this are for STRAIGHT people. You'll notice that a large portion of forced fem / sissyfication games have "female domination" as a tag, meaning a woman will dominate YOU. What about that would interest a gay man? If it was gay bait it would have "male domination" instead, and probably axe the fem / sissy entirely, gay men don't want to be women, thats trans peoples thing. So.... Straight Bait.

A few suggestions so far:

Why in the world would you use gray text for the narration? And it highlights to white text with a bright pink background? The eye fatigue is gonna be rough with this one when it gets longer.

You may wanna consider adding the ability to name the main character for more immersion. Or at the very least give the MC a somewhat normal name, Violin just sounds like a bad nickname someone gives a band kid because they can't be bothered to remember their name.

Getting slapped in the face early on with the humiliation/cuckold stuff even if you're avoiding it is not great either.

I personally have no interest in female domination, humiliation, sissification, or transformation, but I would (and routinely do) 100% go with that in order to romance any of those guys. I hope this continues.
I agree a tooltip over the stats to remind me what they are would be handy. Also, I'll take the real porn clips any day over a title that takes months and months between updates.

This is a really great start to a game! Love the theme, setting, and the AI art is really nice (though I agree that the IRL images are a little out of place with the AI art). Looking forward to where this game goes

Yes, the main character has an androgynous appearance, but the transformation of appearance is not the main idea of sissification
