I remember the 1st had clock and calendar, lots of limited events and stupid choices so I dropped it. Is the 2nd the same?

Not quite sure what you meant with too many hours but what comes to mind is the fire emblem series. I'm also quite interested in Vestaria Saga but I haven't begun that yet. I think the ones who made fire emblem has had a finger in those games too.
Edit Not sure if vestaria saga has any romance. I thought it did but I don't see much information about it. Could be that my googling skills sucks

Everytime I see the dark blonde hair girl's at the slightly to the right of the center right-eye(left in our POV), looking somewhere to the right(left in our POV), while her right-eye stare at us make me take a deep breath and say 'Why do the rest of the girl look at me just fine, but you're the only one who look at me like that? Is it your character trait? But I don't remember you ever said about that in your storyline????'. And I scroll down just to avoid looking at her too long.

As another comment said 'Fire Emblem, specifically Fire Emblem Awakening and a small maybe Fire Emblem Fates(because while the romance is to my liking, the story is not)'. Maybe other series to your liking if you prefer non-time travelling shenanigans.
But if you ask me what's the best? Its Rune Factory 4
. Followed by its series and Harvest Moon series, also not forgetting Stardew Valley (which can be modded, so there mayyyyy be a 18+ content out there... I mean you can ride Pam as a horse).You can also wishlist War of Ashird in your wishlist on Steam. It was on kickstarter May 2020 and while I have no idea when they are gonna finish them, the monthly update is consistent and the content balancing/revising/adding is fun enough to look forward to. Don't expect anything though, it has been in development since July 2020 so it might take another 4 year for all I know.
And since the comment below me added Azure Dreams which is from PS1, might I also recommend Mana Khemia from PS2 (and later port-to PSP). Fun gameplay if you ever play atelier series, it pretty much the same (not as polished, but fun enough for its time). There wasn't much romance unless you pursue the catgirl but the ending with her is 5/5 wholesome). The sequel wasn't worth it in my opinion. The female MC is interesting, but the male MC wasn't so interesting. Just like Mana Khemia MC now that I think about it, he wasn't really interesting... but his revelancy to the plot and his friends is fun to be around.

I always admired that they where trying to make an Azure Dreams "spiritual successor" but it looked like they just added some dating systems in rpgmaker without any of their original goals...

First time seeing this game, can i ask? As i saw is only 3 ver, the dungeon dreams 2, femal pro and mal pro, may i ask if there is dungeon dreams 1? Thanks.
The fe/male version is the 1st one, though be warned, as another comment on this page has said, the clock feature in this game is annoying & you can't change how quickly it ticks down like some other games [Sim Bro 2:Revival (lefora)]
Also, believe the 2nd one is a standalone, rather than continuation, but didn't bother keeping up w/ the series, due to being peeved w/ the clock & calendar of the 1st.
You need to be one of the class that can join first of all, either hunter or trickster. Then if your parent is either Dart or Jane you can ask them at one point to join. Otherwise you'll get a quest eventually about some thieves breaking into a house where you can ask to join.
Really had hoped this dev would take it to a porn game level. I think he made a poll about it too.
I read somewhere that the dev used like AI for everything in this game. Stories, codes to whatnot.. He sounded kind of.. eccentric mad but.. I'm not ruling it out anyway. Well.. I don't rule out anything that could be, so it's not a big deal really. I like to keep the options and doors open.

I like to keep the options and doors open.you need to be trickster or rouge i think to join the merchants guild warrior and the 2 mage classes to join the academy and some characters are gender or class locked meaning that you can only date them with a certain class oh and some are guild based too so you need to be careful if you want a certain wife or husband you need to check their requirements it is a fun game because you can have a harem but it depends on the characters oh yeah and be careful how you set up your character early in because depending on what you chose it could lock you out of other characters yeah it is alright you kind of get a lot of sex if you want but it not really shown

Storywise is interesting enuff to keep me keep playing, but gotta admit the grind is harsh since they using status up and job mastery more than just level (aka massacre weak mob better)

Anyone else stuck on Dungeon floor 20? Is there a special condition to get the boss to spawn? or is it really a maze that requires a specific path to pass through?
