The new version has improved in some ways and worsened in others. There are many bugs and things that don't work. When you're on the throne in the dungeon, the character menu doesn't work. When you load a character, there's no way to release it. And if you try to load another, the one you're currently loading hangs in the air. When you try to start a sex scene near the walls, it's possible that the character will end up inside the walls. The sex scene ends after one of the characters cums, requiring you to talk to that character again to restart the scene. There's no way to control the speed of sex in sex scenes, or at least the game doesn't display any speed controls. The cameras during sex are really annoying to control and adjust; the automatic camera is a pain in the ass. Having to control the entire sex scene using keyboard shortcuts is a pain in the ass. The character occasionally jerks off, and if you cancel it to stop it, it starts again after a while. What a pain. Sometimes, while jerking off, the controls become unresponsive, and you can't do anything until it's finished. And there are many other bugs and annoying things that come with this version...

I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question but how do you actually access a character's inventory and equip/unequip items?
Yes. And probably ex-USSR thing too.
In China and Japan, they have anime-style animal-people instead. Who are basically humans with animal ears and tail.
This distinction is important to some people. Like me. I like anime-style animal people, and am indifferent to furries.
No idea what people like in the global south.
You can give them items through dialogue, if I am not mistaken.

Same way you do it for every other character - although it's a little odd, you can start a conversation with yourself
I can't seem to fight at all. I click on a card, click on the enemy. Nothing happens. Spam clicking, nothing happens. Seems to be a broken mess.
I remember you need to click on the body part you want to hit.
In the past versions, it mattered, because the enemy could get a debuff for being naked.
You need to have enough of the various resources as well - it's been a while since I played, but if I recall correctly it's mana and energy. Then click the card and point to the target, when you see a thin dotted line, click and voila. Also your turn is infinitely long, so you can replenish the resources by using consumables and keep going until you've used all your cards or have won. The collar to capture them has an x% of working depending on their remaining HP.
But honestly you won't have many actual fights, just put down 4 spike traps in a row after the entrance and any invader will drop dead before reaching you.
so did they get rid of the ability to modify characters with cheats?
Key-bind reassignments would be nice, I assume you can zoom in and out but my mouse-wheel is broken.. also a pause time button would be nice but I can understand that may be overpowered unless there's build time added so you can't just make a whole base while paused. Otherwise, neat game so far and I'm looking forward to when it's more fleshed out and polished.
Dunno what I did but this game randomly started running like tree molasses at some point during character creation
Really great potential here! For the moment a bit too much jank, will check on this some updates down.
