How do you remove servant clothing in 0.18.2?
Either replace it with a different item in the same slot of repeat the talk dialogue option to 'Take Off' and pick the item you want them to remove.
Crafting is obtuse and unintuitive and could use a rework. I'd like the store to sell more material, items to scrap to more than cloth, and a recipe list for what you want to build. You can even make the workshop upgradeable and unlock additional items recipes based on highest level workshop.
If you want to make a dedicated system then a couple ideas would be:
1) Workshops can be leveled and higher levels unlock more basic recipes
2) Special recipes can be unlocked by buying them or scrapping finished versions (example: scrap maid outfits to learn maid outfit)
3) Workshops generate X productivity per 60 seconds and assigning a worker to the workshop or upgrading to higher levels increases the amount of productivity produced. Productivity is cumulative amongst all workshops for a general 'productivity pool'
4) Each item has a productivity cost in addition to recipe items. Basic materials can have just productivity cost to generate materials (example: Cloth, metal, wood, etc) or productivity can be spent to make 'trade goods' that can be sold for gold when not making items.
5) Crafting adds items to a queue which will consume productivity to be produced.
Did I get annoyed by the market slow refresh rate and think of alternative ways to get costumes for my servants to the point of constructing an entire production system? Yes. Not like there's much else to do.
