I have a Steam Deck, the game runs bad on it. I think if a game runs bad on it without having some insane graphics, it is badly optimized.
Steam deck is quite underpowered though, It basically has a nicer iGPU in it, performance wise its comparable to a GTX 1050 which isn't exactly the greatest. even my GTX 980 can run this game at a decent fps lol

I found that most of the lag comes from ai behavior and target/pathing calculation - try not recruiting any allies(or telling them to stop following you once you rescued them), that will reduce lag substantially

His point still stands - game with ps 2 graphics has no business running this bad (and it was running way better before 0.2.1 update)

Dude I have an RTX 3060, dual Xeon Gold 6140 CPUs, and the game still lags. The game is unoptimized both in the CPU and GPU departments. Something is probably very single-threaded in terms of whatever's being done on the CPU and the GPU is just being wasted on whatever the hell is being drawn somehow idk.

That's fair enough tbh, if i had to guess maybe unoptimized models (too high poly?) but I have no idea, only dev can tell us.

Though mentioning dual xeon cpus, that is a setup that is terrible for gaming, Those xeons target more cores and cache over clock speed, which for a game that probably uses 1 or 2 cores is not ideal lol.
Not to mention the scheduling issues that come from dual CPUs. and that gen of Xeon is capped at like 2666 ddr4

Idk why y'all are lagging so much, the game runs fine on my old gpu on the levels i can actually load lol.
Most levels just don't render correctly though with a white screen or something similar, no idea why since my gpu supports DX12 and Vulkan

If this is the case then that is certainly fixable, And would explain why I am not getting much lag since my cpu is decent ryzen 5

though regarding ps2 graphics that's hardly fair lol. it may not be best graphics, but its better than 2000 console. i get your point though. seems to be unoptimized ai which dev can certainly fix. this is the benefit of an early access game, plenty of testing before release lol

It's not the best CPU for gaming but the single core performance is decent to say the least, even if it's not cutting edge or amazing, and well the multi-core performance is amazing. I've been able to run modern games just fine on this (for example: Death Stranding, Terminator Resistance, Detroit Become Human) . If you want to make a game that has its logic be mainly single-core then it should be optimized in that regard than expect people to have like a Ryzen 9980X3D. But also as Xypster said, the lag in terms of the CPU workload is in large part likely from the AI in that regard.

I like the premise.

Please allow us to start as whatever race we want, instead of having to restart the game to get another 4 options. And again but the same 4 options. And again. And again....

Followers need to stop ripping off all their effing clothes every 30 seconds and masturbating, or hauling off my captives to rape them. They MIGHT re-equip an item or two on the ground, but usually not - and this makes hunting for outfits for them or dying them pointless. And hard to deal with your captives if you have to go rescue them from rapists constantly. I actually had one take a captive I was carrying, throw them down, start raping them.

Masturbating followers can't be interrupted.

A few more detailed explanations would help. Enchanting items - what are the 3 types of enchanting before I spend my hard earned gems? Clothing Damage - far as I see, items don't take damage, just character health so no clue what that is about.

Males are still very feminine, just like in Dungeon Keep-Her. Verrrrry few male items to find and and the same with items sold, almost all are female. Not even gender neutral.

Why not a buyer at camp? Doesn't have to be anything grand - just x amount of gems for y color of item - some reason for me to pick up yet another rare braided panties off the ground, or sell items with bonuses that don't fit into your build.

It feels like the larger the weapon, the slower the attack speed. Maybe add speed to the weapon info?

Pathfinding bonuses do not work. I can equip 3 pathfinder items, character screen says +3 paths modifier, still when I go to choose a path I only have 2-3 options.

After training at camp, you must un-equip/re-equip an item for the bonus to show.

Intact vagina trait doesn't go away after sex.

Some sort of sorting or main chest management would be very helpful, especially if you want to have dye chests in every room.

Upon starting the game, it goes to some sort of throne? Management? screen for 2-3 seconds. I'm assuming (nasty word in any language) that it's for the future management in the roadmap though.

Items on the ground in camp should despawn when you leave camp. Or at least make a trash can.
(Update - they are removed if you restart the game however)

I see that being able to have permanent followers is on the roadmap, will be a huge boost to the game. Needed! Game is fun but sorta pointless atm, since all your followers and equipment goes poof when you exit a dungeon Just left with the converting hostiles into followers grind.

Newish player of this game here and I had a few questions I was hoping someone might be able to answer for me.

1. How do I access different saves or create different characters... or is this even possible in the current version?

2. Are you meant to load directly into the character creator your first time around and into said character from your last save upon every subsequent start up?

3. Is there a way to take weapons from enemies or allies? It is impossible to do so in the current version, leaving only the rarely appearing weapon shop as the only option to swap weapons.

4. Are the elite and legendary bosses meant to be ludicrous damage sponges that take no more than 3 damage per attack while standard enemies usually take 10 times that amount?

Thanks to whoever takes the time to help answer these questions, as I am sure I am not the only one curious about these.

1 - there's only one character
2 - yes, there is only one character you can have, no reason for character select window
3 - only replace their weapon with another weapon
4 - legendary bosses get random bonuses, some of those are armor / reduce damage taken. You can get unlucky and roll an enemy with insane hp and damage reduction, or huge dps with teleporting passive on a weapon (just as unfair as the giga tank)

Well... 1 through 3 are incredibly disappointing to hear, although 3 sounds like more of a bug or side-effect of not being able to roam the map without a weapon. 4 feels like it is a genuine bug as your lifesteal does not decrease when attacking bosses despite the obvious difference in damage dealt. Whether that is a bug in the displayed number or lifesteal functionality is anyone's guess, and I really do hope this comment does not get that lifesaving feature nerfed.

As for bosses being near impossible to slay... apparently if you are lucky enough (or have a LOT of +binding%) or persistent enough you have a chance to just tie up a boss whenever they get knocked on their ass for an instant win. Great strategy if you have a battle axe or a lot of knockback/lust damage, but useless info otherwise.

Is there any way to keep clothes in your inventory when taking them off during sex? its getting annoying :/
Unless you take those items off in advance there is no way to do so at present, which makes trying to recollect everything when one of your temporary companions steal something a real treat. I doubt that is high up on the list of bugs/QoL features the dev intends to add.

for new players: recruit your defeated enemies, same as you make them friends in DKH (ie boinking until they like/love you). Yes it get's a bit laggy when you have 20+ followers charging into the room with you, but so far i haven't found a boss i could not beat with this method - including one that had insane damage reduction and healing.

Unplayable game as it stands right now, the constant micro freezes make combat annoying and such a slog to go through. It also seems that because of the micro freezes if the fight takes a bit, the animations start to desync with the actual moment you get hit. I at some point in a fight started getting hit before the animation even played.

This might be a fun game, but the AI causing the game to freeze HAS to be adressed in order for it to become fun.
