Since there have been a lot of changes to this game from when we first launched in Early Access- I'm stepping in and claiming the thread to make sure all information related to the game is accurate.
While I am unable to officially endorse the free distribution of the game- I can say, completely unrelated, that I do share sympathies with anyone who is unable to afford the game, is from a region where it is not available/too expensive, or are curious and want to make sure they like a game before they dedicate money towards it.
Also as a heads up- the GOG version has no DRM. There have been many issues reported in this thread about previous versions that have to do with how we've integrated the Steam API. Trying to redistribute the Steam build has been funky, but the GOG version should have no similar issues. The GOG and Steam versions are identical, as far as content is concerned. So if folks WERE looking to share the game, the GOG version should always be the first choice.
