For this VN, Daniels sure has chosen some unconventional face models for the girls. Personally though am not a fan and preferred the cast in Pine Falls. I never comment on the looks but his choices for the main girls here are a complete departure from his previous works.

I forget all their names but I like the blonde with the Wicked Witch shirt. The others I don't like very much.

I don't understand why the canon name of the protagonist i.e John is the same as Pine Falls. Wonder if there is a reason behind that. Also the writing style is different with a narrator explaining the protagonist's thoughts. Even the camera is switching in first person to the girls and showing the protagonist from their viewpoint.

Maybe someday Daniel can hire someone who can actually write story and good plots.
He clearly knows what hes doin with the editor and he uses more gameplay mechanics than most devs which games i played but the story is always a big hole.
Well. Lets see what this will turn out.

Hey everyone,
As you know, instead of doing the whole version thing again I decided to take an episodic approach to DLM. The reason for that is because when you say "version 0.1" for example, you expect things to change in version 0.2, not only adding new content. Since nothing from the previous "versions" changes, instead only new content is added, "episode" seems to be the better way to describe it. Things will basically stay the same, release dates are the same, Episode 2 will also contain Episode 1, Ep3 will contain Ep2 and Ep1 and so on.
With that said, it's going to be a big one. With everyone staying safe at home, there's not much left to do but work for those of us that can. There's already a very high number of renders completed with even more to come.
The release date should be around the 15th of the month, less than two weeks away!

I played Lancaster until it turned into a sex fest. I just played Pine Falls until it turned into a fuck fest,

They only turn into fuck fests if you pick those options.

The idea behind them is to pick 1, or 2 in a couple of cases, character and stick with them. None of the content is forced so if you are fucking everyone you picked it.

It's the style of this developer that all the girls are basically throwing themselves at MC from the start. As far as I remember, it was so in all his games. I'm not saying it's good or bad. Some people like this, some don't. At least, the girls in his games usually look good.

in the last scene of the 1st episode the MC is victim of mind control, no way to tell what could happen next.

As scheduled Dusklight Manor Episode 2 is now available to Tier 2 Patrons in PC, MAC and ANDROID formats, along with the walkthrough at this link :

As you might already know, from now on Tier 2 and higher Patrons will receive the latest update on the 15th of the month and Tier 1 will receive it a week later. Please let me know if there are any issues with it so I can fix them.
This Episode brings a lot of new content, new music, sounds, adult animations and more than 230 new HD images! Since this is the second Episode, as you might imagine, the girls won't jump on you just yet, not all of them at least... The story is developed even more as you get to know the girls better and meet the mysterious maid, Lemon. (Redhead girl in the second image)
Also, starting with Episode 3 a new animation format will be implemented that greatly reduces the animation file sizes so no more 1GB+ updates. The best thing about it is that it doesn't cost any quality or anything at all, animations will be the same as before only smaller in disk size. There would be more to say about the Episode and the story but I'll let you see it for yourself without spoiling too much of it.
