No one has any information about the game, I'm working on it alone and if I communicate anything it's to all of you at the same time, not to particular individuals. I think he was just estimating!
Weird, where did you get the game and what OS are you playing it on? Some people have had this problem because they were playing it on an "online" version that wasn't mine.

and I don't cut content as a rule, I rather "replace" or "adpat" it. For example, this week I changed a lot of the story in 2.5 because it didn't really fit with the girl's personalities, who were a bit too “on their own”. So I added some new features and rewriting to fit the tone better

You can't miss anything in chap 2. In chapter 1 some outcomes change depending on your decisions on the job phase, but there's nothing you can "miss"!
