When the post says version 0.11 does it mean 0.1.1? Because there is no content in this game yet so it shouldn't be labeled as thought it has been through many updates. Also the entire satire element is missing.

Perhaps I have the wrong understanding of numbering versions. I was told that a first demo was 0.10. I made various content changes to the 0.10 version so I numbered the new version 0.11.

I believe the following examples represent satire:
1. The player is selected Earth's champion based on a high score in a video game.
2. The alien advisor disguises himself as a dog based on bad information regarding Earth.

You will probably get more help there, some users don't come into games' topics, beside the ones that they follow.

But, just use texture shaded turning light previews off until you add enough spotlights.

I believe that furry dogs such as Maltese would be very hard to craft. His entire body would behave like it had some hair attached. I didn't found nothing close to it on Daz, Renderosity and ShareCg.

Software convention is x.y.z where:
x major release, can have compatibility breach.
y minor release, should be compatible with prior versions.
z hotfix.

When the product is done, usually you have the first major release: 1.0.0. Everything after is on maintenance cycle. Everything before are development versions, alpha versions (for internal teams to test) or beta versions (for the public to test).

But these are homemade games, there are no overall rules, besides that almost everyone is on beta. Maybe 0.11 give the impression that you already had 10 releases before. Maybe 0.2 or 0.1.1 would not cause misunderstandings, but it's not a rule.

Thanks for understanding. I've started with my oldest renders and already replaced many of them with things I've learned from others and tutorials. I didn't create the opening thread, so I imagine I will need to contact the poster to change to the updated images once the new version is ready.

Most people here are understanding if a developer communicates with them. You should do that because you don't want to scare people away.

I just played this & like the premise of the game... hot women in short school skirts & crop tops will attract my attention every day of the week!!

...but I think I will wait for another couple of versions so the stretched renders can be sorted out (it hurt my eyes!) and see how the game story progresses.

All in all, I would give this game a 6/10 for a positive start (and school girls with short skirts!!) so I will be following this with interest.

Thanks. I've redone the stretched renders so the next update will be eye friendly. I'm working on replacing most if not all of the renders to improve their quality. The skirts don't do well in the classroom seated poses so they are taking longer than I had hoped to get them to look right.

If as large/important patch is made then it would be more appropriate to mark it as 0.2 and then 0.3 and so on. The extra .1 on the end would be for less important/minor changes. As for the elements of satire, those are comedic but they dont really parody anything or comment on/ base themselves off of common tropes.

Fixed the skirt scene yesterday. Abby, being a cheerleader, wears the short skirt and provides a nice panty shot. I hope you'll like it. I promise the game will have adult content. The demo was about creating the game framework and introducing the characters. The skirts don't follow a seated pose well. So parts of the skirt will look torn, missing sections, or sticking out in various directions. Took a long time but I think it looks pretty good now.

Thanks for the clarifications. So the reboot I have planned sounds like the version name would be 0.1.0. I see the examples I mention, and other elements in the demo, as satire of the indicated genres. Perhaps comedic as you see them is the better fit. Ultimately it doesn't change the game so I'll agree to disagree.

I got to say most of the sample pics are good, but the 5th one really does it for me, it's not the lightsaber and Star Wars reference its mostly the dog typing. Any game with typing dogs has my interest
