I agree.
She is portrayed as a confident, driven woman who is being entrusted with a very important undercover assignment.
I can see the stress of this assignment influencing her decision-making process - so that she is more willing to take/enjoy comfort and intimacy with a few other people.. especially if her husband is not there for her the way he usually was in the past.
I can see her being faced with increasing moral dilemmas (like the relationship with Marco) - how far is she willing to go to get him to trust her and get the 'inside scoop' on the big bosses' organization.
If the story stays true to how she is portrayed and there is no jumping the shark - Diana is mysteriously slipped XYZ drug so that she is now a different person with different morals - then I don't see a place for a slut path involving many other people.
I have seen a few stories with a female MC where the dev has invoked the 'magic' of the slut path, but the storytelling has broken down and lost its cohesion/no longer makes sense.
I strongly prefer adult stories where I am treated like an adult and there is a reason for intimacy (husband/wife), or it develops naturally from interactions with a few people - all as the story plays out.
If the goal is to see a woman being made airtight, do you wait for the year+ for a story to develop to this point (and if there is any Real attempt at storytelling, then this is not early AVN content, so what could be 2+ years) or do you just go to PornHub or one of its equivalents?
After the added work the dev needed to do so that he could continue with Patreon $ support, I am looking forward to the current trajectory of this story - and there is plenty going on for the potential of more sexy time between Diana and a few other people.

A good manager shouldn't ask about the source of a criticism, but about the content and validity and, most importantly, if listening to it advances his business and aligns with his idea / vision of his restaurant. The assumption that only paying customers should have a say is quite narrow minded. In my experience, games where paying customers can make crucial decisions tend to turn into a boring and uninspired mess with average storylines; and games where the developer has an idea of what he wants and takes feedback from all sources without trying to please everybody, tend to do better.
That said, I agree that a slut path with many partners is boring and counterproductive for all the reasons you mentioned. I also prefer well crafted relationships between very few characters instead of gangbang stories. Let's see where this game goes.
I understand your perspective, but I chose my wording carefully.
I said: 'take advice from this 'food critic' over that of the customers.'
I am not invalidating anyone's opinion, but I believe that those who are willing to support a dev with their $ are the first place a dev should go to get feedback - having skin in the game should mean something.
Beyond this, though:
If a dev wants to put out two polls, for example - one on their Patreon, gated at some tier, and another on F95 - it's all good.
Feedback from different audiences can help a dev in understanding how intended content, be it storyline/renders/animations/fetishes is being received and what is not working.
It's not uncommon for new devs, particularly early in a creation, to solicit broader feedback, especially if they are less familiar with the 'likes/dislikes/desired fetishes' some would have re: certain content.
I want this story to be told, as the dev intends, all the way through until its intended end.
From what I've seen, the early changes have moved this AVN back well within the current 'lines' of Patreon's TOS.
I know a number of people were impatient for the changes to be implemented and for the dev to get back to advancing the story.
I'm hoping that the next rev, v 0.50, will show that the dev is back on track re: development time for the quantity and quality of the story we will receive.
