Any proof from the dev?

No proof at all. Last Patreon post was in April, and there's nothing in Discord.
If I were the dev, I wouldn't abandon a game (if it were the case) at the very end of completing an update, unless of course, there were extenuating circumstances.

i'm pretty sure the aliens are involved! it's clearly and definitely an alien abduction: they've kidnapped mad koala and now they are testing him very hard with humiliating devices i fear, but i'm definitely sure that if you pry to the lord the aliens will spare him and relase him....

The last post from the Dev (Discord) said IRL work schedule got insane. I would suspect one more update this year since the current update is 90% then Dev will put it on pause officially

Great Update. The build up between Diana and Jason is great even it was slower at the beginning. It was now fast in this Update. Also that her desire for him is becoming more sexuell. Mabe in the next two Updates, there will be some more action between them.

Echoes of Deception is exciting. So far I'm still playing the harmless way. This slow buildup of sexual tension ensures more. The renders, the story so far and the exciting protagonist with her initial ethical and moral remorse and the slow disintegration of her values make the game one of my favorites. The scene with the cigarette on the terrace in the evening when Jason stands next to her and he asks her what it's like to have a cigarette and she just stood there in her underwear and tempted him to take a puff even though it's her son, has something dark and excitingly degenerate at the same time....

i played this game last year and was totally hooked. really liked the fmc, the render quality, the hole game felt high quality. especially liked the kinky stuff "tease" with the "old pool guy" (i think he was an old police officer in retirement and for information she could go with him in the pool) SO DAMN HOT. hope these two make out together hoped to see some spicy action. but seeing this game is neither long term paused or abandoned makes me happy since too many games i like end like this at the moment... hope he just took a pause and comes back. please come back!

The dev was online here not too long ago, the fact he's remaining quite kinda seems like he's just given up but allowing his Patreon to continue collecting money unless it's paused, if it's not paused then he's just a scummy dev like a lot of the others.
