Overview:
It is said that deep within Eggbug Mountain lies a grand treasure. You have travelled to the mountain to seek wealth and fortune.
But the mountain is also home to the eponymous eggbugs, giant insects with a very interesting reproduction cycle. A reproduction cycle that they'd love you to participate in!
Eggbug Mountain is a short puzzle platformer, where the creatures you encounter can help or hinder you, depending on the situation.
It was inspired by Wario Land 3, which was a game that, despite how main character looks, was astonishingly kinky in hindsight.​

Great concept. It scratches an itch of mine, but it's also pretty barren on content. I reached the room with the Heart item and a bunch of the Bug girls, but couldn't find the will to push on. Puzzles get increasingly difficult without any feeling of reward due to the small scene size.

Really hope the dev is willing to expand this game more, and introduce new animations/revise areas to have new transformation earlier. Right now, I don't really want to leave a review because I'd have to rate it much lower than I want to. Feels like you see everything within the first 10 minutes, or so.

Thats a good game actually. Good level design, where you need to use all aspects of "interesting reproduction cycle" to pass forward. There is not much from NSFW perspective. It is a game i want to PLAY, not watch porn in.

Really nice game, left me wanting more. The final puzzle room with the heart was pretty tricky (or maybe I'm just sleepy :p ).

For anyone who got stuck on the heart room (like me), here's the solution:
On the right is a pool with a leaky path under it, get transformed by one of the many moths and carefully navigate it
Then go up to the first bug, get stuffed by the bug and then go to the meat block on the left and birth a larva to eat it
Fly up and get hit by a water drop to get untransformed and then get smacked by the second bug across the room.
Then go downwards, there should be a moth that can transform you, so get transformed.
Fly back up to the top where there should be a bug and a meat block. Same deal, get stuffed, birth larva, get rid of meat block.
Then head back to the middle, retransform (you should have had to pass through water to back here) and fly up to the upper right.
Then fly through the water and get detransformed and land on the ground up there, then bait the bug off it's higher platform and get knocked across the room to the left (again)
Now you should be by the tentacles as a human and can kill it, do so, and then get transformed again by the moth above it.
Then get stuffed by the nearby bug (again) and go down the chute-like area whilst avoiding the water drop.
Congratulations, you're on top of the moth girl nest with a larva. Birth it and break the roof, then get untransformed, there should be a water drop nearby.
Now, as a human, break in to the nest through the now missing roof and claim the heart, boom, room solved.

After you birth the larva just fly up to ledge on the right and sort of hop into the waterfall and hold left so that you fall back onto the platform you jumped off of. Then you can kill the ant and plant and get webbed up top without having to go all the way around the room again.

If you attempt to brute force a room with a ton of plants as a butterfly, you'll softlock the game and have to restart. :<

You can unlock the gallery(big room of enemies) by beating the game with all gems. There's also a secret 13th gem you can get by backtracking to the beginning of the game with all 12 gems. It doesn't give anything else but points though.

Plenty of ways to get completely stuck it seems. Also can't seem to find out how to get the... round thing you are supposed to collect when it's under water. Can't touch water as a bug without turning human, can't dive as a human. Something is missing there. Also I resetted the room and it seems that after doing so, it is impossible to get to the next room without being in the wrong form.
