Personally, I hope she does. It's ultimately your story though. Guess she left an impression.
Lyria left for justified reasonings, and her leave was always meant to happen. And eventually, I made it so because I did not want her character ruined due to loud voice of others, that thought they can persuade me or know better than I do what is good and what isn't for my own character.

Her leave plays part to her character growth in the background. And while Elleria 2 isn't played from Eliot's POV, rather his son. That doesn't mean I can't throw her back in.

And her full return would be fitting for Elleria 3, as that switches the POV back to Eliot. Whatever the case be, I'll simply say she didn't vanish into thin air, and she has her own parts to play.

Nice update as always,

does anyone remember how many chapters will have the Elleria 1?

On the other note Eliot is slightly whipped by Amynth :KEK:
Screenshot (64).png

Eris though seems more passive and patient with Eliot.
And the poor Aria is working like a dog for him.

ps : so among the LIs

Chapter 5 (coming soon) is the last part of Book 1.

Just one correction to your notes.

Do you think Khamira might be an Aspect too?

And thats why she cant help more directly Elliot.

About Khamira im not sure perhaps she is.... or perhaps she is a fake god
If I understand it correctly, she is different to an Aspect because she was human and elevated by the One, which Aspects weren't, they were created. So Eris can speak directly to the One, as much as the Aspects can, while fake gods can't. Dev may not agree, but at the moment, I see her as a real god, as opposed to the other fake ones.

Amynth planned on meeting Khamira with Eliot, but when they got there she suddenly had something to do. So maybe she did, but I wondered if perhaps she didn't have something to do, but was aware that AN aspect was there and trying to avoid her. Or your way works too, she would probably want to avoid a fake god too.

Eris is a god. Simply put and said. Just like any other, only difference is, unlike those created by Aspects, Eris falls under Azhaq'tel's sole jurisdiction. Relatively anyways, she has been somewhat naughty in background which violated some rules severely, hence, why, in CH5, you see Amynth nearly popping her head off, and enforcing the rules and ensuring she never does such a thing ever again no matter the circumstance.

But you see that in CH5 as well, 1st with her convo with Eliot that offers some final revelation as to how events transpired and how and why is Eliot present, and you also have a scene with her and Amynth alone.

No God is ''Fake'' except Eris's sister.

2nd. They're not Gods, they're Angelic Beings more like it, Emissaries, as Amynth explains in somewhat mind fucking way to Eliot in that tent. Calling em gods is as she states blasphemy towards an actual god, aka The One. Its just how humanity treats them, calls them and sees them. As she well explains.

As for that small part where Amynth leaves Eliot alone for a moment to deal with Khamira, that's just set up for one of DLC's, Sands of Time.

Khamira is neither, she is descendant of 1st civilization of Elleria that were more... advanced in terms of tech, but also diabolical to put it mildly. If anything, consider her a sorceress of an ancient race, a descendant is what she is. That's what Tashir are.

Tashir people, are loosely based on Mayan's civilization from our own world.

Narration clearly states Eliot suspects sorcery in Khamira's presence. Khamira herself is an intriguing character imo, but she isn't divine. Consider her like a Cleopatra of Egypt more like it.

No God is ''Fake'' except Eris's sister.

Not all of them. Elves come in different variety. Only Moon Elves aka Lyria's Elven Kind.

You have Elves across the sea that Eliot visits to require aid from. They're different... they worship an Aspect. You have also Woodland Realms Elves, which, despite their king being a pompous fuck.

They do not worship gods, but nature itself, thereby, with extension, an Aspect.

I mean that Amynth and Eris interaction / conversation is shown to you. Where Amynth scolds the shit out of Eris, and basically verbally warns her should she do what she did ever again, she will stomp on her like an ant.

New to this game. Made it to chapter 2 or 3... the War Table when you Scout the first Village. Have one question before I go further. The MC and story have both changed directions. MC seems to be a brainless asshole all of a sudden. When dealing with the Village I am not even given the option to use force or diplomacy.

Without spoiling anything, is there a redemption arc for the MC, or is it all downhill from here, with little to no choice on our parts? Thank you.

Eliot is anything but a brainless asshole. I will simply say this, finish the book, then judge at the end and end itself.

IF by that point and time, based off of your personal interpretations and judgments you still deem it the same way. Despite differences in our opinions and viewpoints, you're free to tell me to go fuck myself.

But that's the best answer I can provide.

It's an honest, straight forward answer, which was what I was after. Thank you.

Context for anyone who cares: After starting the War Table, the MC begins to ask the others their opinions. Which is great, glad we get the option. Except they give painfully obvious suggestions and the MC acts like he didn't already know / think of, such things. That is where my "brainless" opinion came from. Simultaneously he seems to let the girls do all the work while he generally treats them like the subjects of an arrogant King. Hence my asshole comment.

I will stick it out and see where this goes.

It's also the sign of a good leader. Listen to your advisors and those you trust, take on board their suggestions and meld it all together after considering the options.

But, don't belittle them or their ideas, by saying 'I know all that, give me something better.'

Plus, I think he really respects those girls though he may not always show it, but is making it very clear, it's his plan and in the end despite listening to their thoughts, he will do it the way he sees best. He is in charge.

That is well put.

One important thing to note, despite each of em being a relative expert in their own fields. They're useless to Eliot in terms of warfare.

Aria for example, can mumble all she wants. But Aria does not have 65 + years of war experience.. Eliot has been present for hypothetical sacking of Jerusalem five times over.

All they can offer him is their ignorance in matter of warfare. Thereby, his decisions in terms of operation of kingdoms and warfare are final and his sole to be made.

You can't go to a Templar who has been on a crusade for +65 years that you know more then war than he does, when you've been sitting in a room and reading book for 20 years.
