Sure...maybe. BUT there is also a large group that doesn't like it forced on to the player (It MC's harem)...hence the number of questions being asked if and how it will be presented in the story, and if it's going to be a huge part of the story.
At least a sharing tag could be considered if it's forced on to the player. But this release there is no lesbian content...though the Aunt does cock block the MC in this release.

It's the same reason straight males don't play as a gay guy or a futa and so on.
Besides the problem that the immersion goes to shit.... Lesbian tag is bullshit if the girl is in the harem of the MC.
That would need a Bisexual tag for that girl, not a lesbian.

Sharing tag is more for when you share someone with another of the same sex as the male MC. So lending out your girlfriend or wife to another guy.
Ohhh and that large group you speak of that doesn't like it,,, yeah ,, not that large considering the group that don't mind/care that much.
So from the point of view from the dev, it's a numbers game and saves workload, Or the dev just thinks it fits the story.
Hell it might be he is one of the group that doesn't mind/care that much.

So, unless we're some mini Megamind looking mofo, who only has maybe a year left to live, then I think the dev is confused. There is no way we are some "regular guy" doing the daily corporate grind if we have progeria.
