When it comes to gameplay aspects: Getting a full restore on HP and MP from every level up would be a neat game mechanic. A mini-map might be helpful as well, which updates opened treasure chests and displays exit locations from the start. If you stack on an easy mode with more gold and exp and full TP and MP on every fight, then a lot of players would flock to play despite the leftover difficulty. After re-rendering existing graphics to improve quality without changing the art style, adding scenes and dialogue to the current story, and opening up a bigger game by making all buildings available and maybe even expanding the map to ema's hometown with a dlc; it would be a remake edging close to 11/10. Personally, I would much prefer the game to have more individual routes (innkeeper, guard, mayor, shop owner, vagrant, adventurer, mercenary, noteworthy figures, maybe even specific characters from the hidden ending to flesh out the details in the dlc, etc.) I don't really fancy the mega wh*re endings like prostitution, nobles' plaything, and town c*m-dump; but I would imagine similar endings for bigger variegation during group endings. Finally, including Miguel into the scenarios for an actual sense of relevance during the routes and corruption when abandoning her son and marriage as well as an after-story and epilogue for each ending would be the pièce de résistance to conclude an 11/10 rated game. But I fear that going that far would take a herculean effort, and dreams might just stay as dreams. At least I've said my piece. Just wanted to share some visions I have after playing the game in peace as a tribute to the internet.
