It looks like you used a single quote ' at the end, instead of double quotes ". It should be "-dx11".

You made the change but you didn't save the change you made.
When you changed it you need to hit the Apply button (or okay to apply and close the window) before trying to launch it.

The perspective is quite difficult to adjust and the game is badly optimized. It would be better to watch videos.

unzip,put unzip files into "EmiliasPLAYROOM\Content\Paks".
or make a "~mods" folder in "Paks",put unzip files into it.

DX12 is mostly responsible for major graphical improvements, but also allows for better multitasking with both CPU and GPU. Obviously this is only scratching the surface of the actual changes between the two. But the short answer for UE5 games, yes, DX12 is a requirement, but the games will run in DX11 if forced - granted with potentially broken graphical features and a drop in performance.

neither of those patches worked for me on dx12 with the game freshly downloaded from gdrive

btw author uses both "mosa" and "moza" in file names, can misspelling be a reason for crashes?
